You do not get this witless idiot on TV behaving like this unless a lot of important and influential people have made some very specific choices
“They are weak and woke.”
“There is room certainly for being more woke.”

I really hate to be this way. But this clip re-surfaced and all I did was look up where I could buy this Charlie Kirk hot sauce, and I looked up locations on the website.
It's only available at one Seed To Table location in Florida.
Every chance this woman gets she plugs something: merch, a book, or hot sauce. She lives in Arizona, but does her grocery shopping in Florida?

Remember when this fella pretended to be sleeping rough in the wild but actually stayed in hotels, then got an OBE?
This tweet is an exact continuation of this survival instinct.
Which to his credit, has worked for his career.
Brand’s faith seemed genuine to me at the time when I was a guest at his private baptism.
I have attended a few now. Even visiting in prisons with people who have committed terrible crimes. It's part of our calling as men and women of faith, to love and serve anyone. It is the sick that need healing. Judgement is for the courts and God… I wouldn’t want to ever discourage someone’s coming to faith.
It is right that justice has now been served.
I can’t imagine how hard this time has been for the victims, the heroes of the day.

Men (especially in ministry) , if you have any other response to Brand other than to comfort and commend his victims, and condemn both him and the systems that enabled him, shut up

It does seem many men leave it to woman to do the church's work with relation to abuse. I'm so thankful and in awe of all the women over the years who have bravely spoken out against abuse, oftentimes whilst rightly sitting outside Christendom. teapawt.net/UrbanMinistryUK/status…

Everyone needs to know how common the horrific practice of older men introducing underage teen boys to prostitution is and how while its imo clearly child abuse its also clearly grooming the boy to treat women as objects and shock absorbers in the future.

NHS England still exists, some 20 months after Starmer announced - to much fanfare - its abolition for the same reason so much of government fails: for ministers it's all about eye-catching 'announcables' without any attention given to delivery. Starmer went out of his way to pose as the sensible adult in the room but didn't bother to do any serious implementation planning around how to pay for/achieve the redundancies and all the rest. This is the result

The abolition of NHS England wasn’t necessarily ‘bad policy’ - it had been circulating for years and, under Simon Stevens, it has become a real and rival power base to DHSC - but its justification “world’s biggest quango” failed to understand the inherent skills the NHS *needs*

The mismanagement of NHS commissioning arrangements is a national scandal, yet only the @hsj appear interested
New: 1,000 NHS jobs are set to go after ministers approved compulsory redundancy for commissioning support units, which are set to close next year.
One worker said previously staff were "sat with no work or perhaps around 10% of their workload left."

Sometimes politicians ask civil servants to do things that are ill thought through and cannot work. They then blame the civil service when they don’t. I imagine this is a good example

My suggestion, Bear, to improve things, would be for you to stop arranging performative baptisms for people who are seeking to escape the consequences of sexual assault and rape.
I don't have it all figured out. I never have.
People sometimes assume that because I write about faith, I must have some kind of certainty the rest of the world is missing. The honest answer is the opposite.
Most mornings I wake up with more questions than answers. I mess up regularly. I lose my patience with the people I love most. I forget to pray for days at a time and then feel guilty about forgetting.
But I have learned that following Christ was never about getting it right. It was always about getting back up.
The prayer when we don't feel like praying. The apology we owe. The decision to keep going when giving up makes more sense.
That is what faith looks like when you take it off the page and put it into a life. Messy. Imperfect. Full of restarts.
We don't have to have it all figured out. We just have to keep walking.
What is one small step you can take today, even if you feel completely lost?
