"Deliver impactful value upfront , with the least effort for people , in the shortest time possible"
This applies in so many areas in life.
✨ i finally nailed a better device screen mirroring app
its built on-top of the scrcpy-server with a realistic device frame. ( helps in demos )
plus better accessible video recording.
currently tested on android + mac only so far.
its super early , but expect some refinement PRs coming in.

When an API says "too many requests, try again in an hour", your retry logic needs to listen. Exponential backoff alone isn't enough if it schedules another attempt sooner. Wait for whichever is later: your own backoff or the server's requested time.

The challenge is still on though there are less PRs(5) than tickets(8). A fresh reminder that you increase your chances of being hired when you have opensource contributions. If your PR is merged it will be added to the apalis/rivium showcase. If you are stuck, please DM.

Designed the digital statement verification during my time at Safaricom in 21-23 and I just realized they have it on MyOne App 🤩
It’s the reason you no longer have to go to a customer care center to get your statements stamped btw. We added a watermark, QR code and an alphanumeric code you can verify using USSD.
Would love to know if it’s been useful to y’all and whether I should share the case study
my grandad still banters often that he knew he became old when they started calling their era's music "Zilizopendwa" 😅
pretty psyched up how this East African map turned out to be ,
so tempted to add more NFS/Forza elements 😄 – at Nairobi, Kenya
