Strongly agree: “That the world is, in fact, filled with good and decent people are who simply doing the best they can.”
Lauren Maturo once told me I was like a big brother to her because I always pushed her to be better, because I cared so much about her and the work we needed to do. I’ve never forgotten that. She was so beautifully unique. You couldn’t help but love her.
Remembering Lauren Maturo, vice president of marketing at RXR, who passed away at age 32.
Maturo spent almost eight years at RXR, where she helped launch the company's women's initiative and championed women in real estate.
Scott Rechler, RXR's CEO and chairman, called her "a bright light who made every room she entered feel a little warmer."

The correct answer. You're really shortchanging yourself on the best parts of being a father if you do anything less.
Tyrese Maxey on whether he changes his baby's diaper:
"I'm a big diaper changing guy. I take pride in the speed that I'm able to change a diaper and keep her from crying. So I'm a big diaper change guy, big feed guy, big nap guy. I'm all of it, wake up in the middle of the night, go get it. I do it all man. I try to cherish these moments, cause it feel like already now she trying to crawl and do different things. So she's already moving too fast for me"

NYCHA maintains ownership of the building, and the land. Oversight is significant, as is the major increase in the level of public investment! These are just facts
Josh is back living in the US…In retrospect, he wonders if he got caught up in the frenzy of discourse when he chose to leave in the first place. “Once I…had some distance from the situation in the US,” he says, “I felt perhaps I had overreacted.”

“…the U.S. economy is growing at 6.3 percent nominal (including inflation). The equivalent number for France? It’s 1.9 percent. When growth is above the interest rate, you’re okay. When it’s the other way round, you’re heading for a crisis.”

By the way, anyone know if there is a memo on Lane Kiffin and what it says?

Asked in 2015 if he’d allow a hypothetical 8-year-old son to start playing, Da Coach said no. “I wouldn’t,” Ditka said. “And my whole life was football.”

Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. It destroys community & makes brotherhood impossible. It leaves society in monologue rather than dialogue. Violence ends by destroying itself. It creates bitterness in the survivors & brutality in the destroyers.
“If you’re going to price it like public transit, which is what a lot of our systems have and what New Yorkers want, then every vehicle you put on the ground, it requires operations, & it doesn’t make money when you’re not in a community like Manhattan.”
