My biggest fear after the election was that Trump would play footsie with the new Democrat Congress and negotiate amnesty under the guise of “immigration reform.”

I vividly remember getting absolutely destroyed by MAGA every single day on here for supporting DeSantis in the 2024 presidential primaries. It was BRUTAL, but I stuck to my guns and instincts and didn’t waiver until he ultimately dropped out of the race.
I supported him because he is the most effective and competent Republican leader in this country. It was true then and it’s true now.
It’s ironic to see so many on the right now come to the same conclusion, years later.

Listen, all this infighting has to stop. Republicans cannot dig themselves out of this hole so long as MAGA and Team DeSantis are bashing one another.
Both camps need to be gracious to one another. That means MAGA acknowledging that DeSantis supporters were right about everything and DeSantis supporters graciously accepting their apologies.
That is the road to unity.

This is a total vindication for those of us who wanted to nominate Ron DeSantis in 2024. Not because we hated Trump, but because we saw the virtue of DeSantis.
He would have had 6 years left, no lame duck status, and no Iran debacle.
Let’s not make the same mistake in 2028.

DeSantis is the ONLY Repulican who can say he has ALREADY done everything GOP voters care about. Balanced the Florida budget, cut spending, ended boys in girls restrooms, stood up to COVID totalitarianism and cut property taxes. I hope he announces his campaign tomorrow.
