Going to be spending significantly less time here, and so please find me on 🔵☁️ (same @ as here: davidmurph115)
Keeping this account for now, but won’t be on here much.
Had the best time at @PRISMAciencia, still not over the fact that I was asked to do a workshop here, but thank you so much for having me in Zaragoza 😊😊😊

Best time at the Queer(y)ing Asylum Symposium yesterday! It was amazing and hopeful and queer, and I can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks to the organisers for such a good event.

Got feedback on the first draft of my final main chapter today. Feels like there is still a lot of work to do on the thesis as a whole, but actually feels like it might be possible to submit at the end of this academic year. Dr David in 2025...?
Let the challenge… BEGIN!
Raven really was the peak of kids TV!

#NewProfilePic me and @erinmcnally_ took some professional looking headshots today, and honestly, love this pic for me x

Really excited for this!!! Come along on the 9th Nov for what I’m sure will be a brilliant event.
I’ll be presenting a paper with the title: International Queer Solidarity and
Asylum: Solidarity Without Promoting a 'Neo-Liberal Haven'
See you there 😊

Exciting news!!!
Thrilled to say that I have been invited to run a workshop at the @PRISMAciencia Conference next month about queer pedagogy, based on my recent article. To say this is an exciting opportunity is an understatement. See you in Zaragoza x

I always get a lil reflective on my birthday. The fact that by the time I’m 28 I’ll (hopefully) have finished my PhD is amazing. I’m proud of how much progress I’ve made in these 3 years since starting the PhD, both on the PhD and on myself, and I’ve made some amazing friends!
