Announcing: Househunt - monopoly with real houses
3 years ago @nitinrajini and I became obsessed with a single stat
Zillow has 220M monthly active users but less 5M homes are sold every year
The vast majority of people browse houses because it's fun. Fun to dream about what you could buy if you had more money, or could live somewhere else
So we made a game where you can live out all your real estate fantasies
@playhousehunt is monopoly with real houses - guess house prices, buy, renovate, and sell homes to build your dream real estate empire

One year ago, @davidprzh, @ankithharathi, and I started running on our local track. What began as a shared love for sprints has grown into a community and one of my favorite things about living in Austin.
Today, we celebrated 52 consecutive weeks of sweat, laughter, injuries, and best efforts left out on the track.
What I’m most proud of is the quality of relationships this club has built and the grit that comes with showing up regardless of conditions. Rain or shine, 100° or freezing, friends and soon-to-be friends make their weekly pilgrimage to the track to give it their all.
At a stage of life where making plans often takes weeks of wrangling calendars, this club is a weekly reminder that showing up is its own kind of love.
If you're in Austin, or passing through, come join us. Doesn’t matter which Sunday. We’ll be there.

At our recent Tech Weekend March 2025, we hosted a powerful fireside chat on where venture funding is headed and how founders can stay ahead of the curve.
Our Panelists:
🔹Catherine Stewart, @CTaylorStewart Venture Partner at @BasisSet – Investing in early-stage AI startups transforming productivity across infrastructure, collaboration, and automation.
🔹 Ashley Trick, Venture Capitalist at @Capital6Eagle – Championing emerging tech and hands-on with portfolio support: from investor networks to media exposure and talent.
🔹 David Perez Hernandez, @davidprzh Principal at @RobleVentures – Backing pre-seed to Series A startups in the future of work and learning. Roble writes $200K–$2M checks and supports founders with deep operational expertise.
Key Takeaways for Founders:
💡 AI is shaping dealflow – Investors are increasingly relying on AI+ data drive approach to discover and screen founders, not just through applications but by monitoring digital signals across platforms. A strong online presence is now part of your fundraising toolkit.
💡 Future of Work is hot – Many investors this year are actively sourcing startups in the “future of work” space—both consumer and enterprise. If you're building in this category, now is the time to lean in.
💡 Warm intros still reign – Across the board, panelists emphasized the importance of warm introductions. Whether through fellow founders, VCs, or events like ours, those personal connections drastically increase your chance of a response.
💡 Post-investment support is real – Beyond capital, these VCs actively support founders with hiring, legal, workforce management, raising the next round, and more. Don’t be afraid to ask for help—your success is their success.
This session gave founders a clear picture of how VCs are operating in 2025—from AI-driven deal sourcing to what makes a startup stand out.
Key takeaway: Fundraising today requires more than a great idea. It takes visibility, proof of traction, and knowing exactly where you fit in the market.

This week was sprint club #19. We’ve grown our little community to over 100 people!
~15 people show up each week. Most of the group are early stage founders, crypto builders, or pre-seed VCs.
Something about sprinting attracts people betting big on 0>1 in their careers
