Important editorial from the @nytimes calling on the Senate to pass the PRESS Act, the strongest press freedom bill in modern history.
The House has already passed it unanimously.
The time is now!

I mainlined this book this weekend. Couldn’t put it down. Striking to contemplate the extreme lengths undertaken to save the lives of these 27 shipwrecked men during a week when I am feeling bummed that we place more value on gun ownership than the lives of innocent children.
All of my plans for Christmas - humble as they were - have been canceled. I’m spending the holidays by myself for the first time ever.
If you’re going through similar circumstances, I see you. And if I know you personally and you would like to talk, pls reach out ❤️

I’m going to go on record to say that it’s tough seeing posts and hearing stories about people going back to their workplaces. Mine closed permanently during the pandemic and I struggle with working alone all the time. Anyone else in this boat? Want to start a support group?
Come work with me! My team is adding a Program Manager position. Competitive salary + benefits. Applications accepted through Sunday, May 16.

Turns out I’m pretty trendy when it comes to Covid. Diagnosed one day before the national peak on 1/8/2021, vaccinated with dose no. 1 on a different record-setting day.
The CDC just reported an absolutely massive 4,575,496 doses administered yesterday. Obliterating the daily record by roughly 1,600,000 million!!
