🚨 Putin plans to use Ukraine peace talks to push NATO back to its 1997 military posture
According to The Telegraph, the Kremlin wants to force NATO to scale back its military presence in Europe to levels seen before Eastern European countries joined the Alliance.
This could mean demanding the withdrawal of NATO forces from Poland, the Baltic states, and Finland.
That is why Moscow is pushing for European countries to participate in negotiations over Ukraine. Diplomatic sources cited by The Telegraph say Putin wants to turn talks about ending the war into negotiations over the entire European security architecture.
The issue may also have been discussed during Putin's three-hour meeting with Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, in St. Petersburg.
However, European countries have previously rejected the Kremlin's demands to reduce NATO's military presence on its eastern flank.

You've probably seen this name pushed around by all the russian bootlickers and bots on this site.
Some facts:
Calin Georgescu committed election finance fraud and he did not win the Romanian elections.
He has not yet declared his finances though he lives in a mansion in one of the most richest suburbs of Bucharest, drives a luxury car and employs at least 7 bodyguards... the fact that he is pro-russian is pure coincidence, I am sure.
He has defrauded multiple people including a businessmen who is his former friend of 1.1 million Euros. The arrest and investigation are totally legitimate.
There were no "thousands" of people protesting for him.
There were the same 100 mental patients without jobs who show up at all his manufactured events.
He is not being persecuted, he is a criminal and the law is doing its job.
MAGA, russian propaganda and all the opportunist leeches like @MarioNawfal (who got paid to promote Georgescu) are trying to destabilize Romania and promote a traitor to my country.
They will fail. We have a minority of loud stupid people but most of us are not this stupid.
We will never let that traitor anywhere near power.

I am genuinely astonished that, after Donald Trump has spent the past two years stripping Ukraine of virtually all Congressionally-approved aid, threatening Ukraine, fawning over Putin and bending over backwards to please him in every conceivable way, blaming Ukraine for being invaded, hurling vicious, absurd insults, blackmail, and torrents of lies at it, twisting its arm to force it into capitulation, humiliating it with his antics, making it a scapegoat for his own failures and incompetence in the eyes of voters, and now openly and definitively entering into direct collusion with the Kremlin and siding with it in exchange for promised corrupt “business opportunities” for himself, his family, and his inner circle -- there are still people who have the nerve search with a magnifying glass for ways in which Zelensky failed to kiss Trump's ass enthusiastically enough to explain why he has been treating Ukraine this way.

A quick google search and I knew Scott Ritter is a convicted sex offender, I knew he was involved in an FBI sting operation but, today, reading what actually happened…
Scott Ritter is a sick and twisted individual who should not be given any platform to speak on, who should not be allowed near minors in any case and should not be allowed to harass women on the internet.
The fact that over 500k people are willing to not only forgive this but support him in his disgusting behaviour online and financially, shows how truly depraved the world has become.
