"We're looking at that...They say they have it pretty much under control. We'll see."
Lastly. I still ride with Ryan & Adam.
I think they are two shining examples of taking on extremely difficult situations & doing what they needed to do.
Both companies will legit be THRIVING. There is nothing to be mad at.
It's very easy to armchair QB and I have done my fair share internally, but they're the reason both are here today & reporting Net Income +
My point in sharing this is:
I still have conviction for $GME regardless of what happens with GMEWS. I laid out my case. If it's ripped to shreds then I carry on.
I have been here before and GME / GMEWS offered unique opportunity as an investor. I am just fine if it didn't go the way I wanted.

History with NBR reverse split part two. It's what prepped me to hang on to $AMC.
I was told APE was bad news. I was told AMC wouldn't survive the Reverse split. Here we are today.
Conviction.

Some history. I held through APE and the $AMC reverse split. I justified this because I had gone through a reverse split with NBR back around 2020. NBR ended up being something I broke even on. Had I held longer, I would have actually made some decent cash.
I learned a lesson and with AMC, I stuck with it and averaged down. I didn't let people tell me I was doomed because AMC reverse split with the APE divvy.
630 am in Kansas City? How did a small market like them get this interview? 👀

My choice. My risk assessment.
I still believe but I accept the results.
Anyone suggesting what to do with $GME warrants & makes ZERO mention of risk profile, side eye the crap out of them. There are 3 types of warrant holders:
-Divvy gifted
-Purchasers
-Mix of both
Divvy Gifted: IMO this is the lowest risk profile. Warrants gifted at no cost other than holding existing GME shares
Purchasers: Bought warrants on open market. Makes sense why you would have concern for an expiration date. Warrant extension is not guaranteed. Highest risk profile IMO
Mixed holders: Medium risk IMO. You have skin in the game from buys, but also were gifted warrants via divvy
I am in the "Mixed holder" boat. I only speak for myself in this scenario & none of this or any post is financial advice.
As a mixed holder, I hold some risk from my buys, but am balanced with dividend given warrants. I have my own risk tolerance. My risk tolerance is that I am willing to let the warrants play out from a lower opportunity cost of my buys along with my gifted warrants.
Consider this - I am not a trader. I have never CLAIMED to be a trader. I am an investor & based on the level of goofballs who spout off on this platform, they seemingly never clarify the difference of traders vs investors. An investor is willing to build something over time, not come in for a quick pay day. Many traders lack commitment & lack conviction to do the hard, but fruitful work.
So, my weighted risk for holding warrants this close to the current expiration is based on logic & narrative. It's simple.
The logic:
- Warrants have a strike of $32 & expire 10/30/26
- Yes, they could be extended or strike could be lowered
- There is risk no matter what your profile is
- You could buy GME right now for $18-19
- Warrants are anti-dilutive
- GME benefits $ directly from exercising
The narrative:
- Point 72 is currently the largest tute' owner of GMEWS & is strongly tied to PSA.
- Ryan is the largest (likely) individual owner of GMEWS
- Transaction costs tied to issuing GMEWS from last Oct
- Some GMEWS holders may be bond converters / unwinding
My investment is in Ryan Cohen on this one especially. Ryan has said MANY times that he treats shareholder capital as his own, because he is also selfishly the largest single shareholder in all of this. If GMEWS burns, so does Ryan's GMEWS. Additionally, Ryan has done this media tour the last year where he is not very interested in burning cash in even the smallest of ways. (See, GME marketing costs / SG&A). So I don't see Ryan letting GMEWS burn after filing costs. That doesn't seem his style.
Also, there are ties to Point72 that I can't ignore. Nat Turner & Steve Cohen also are partners in owning Collectors (PSA parent). PSA provides a major service to Gamestop's current cash flow & profitability outlet. Point72 getting burned on GMEWS also doesn't seem like a narrative I think will happen.
As an INVESTOR & NOT a trader on this stock, I am choosing to help the company directly. Buying shares for cheaper on the open market doesn't have the same impact as exercising them after / if the strike price is breached. I want GME to benefit from the buys, which in turn should benefit me in my investment.
Will I haphazardly spend money just to benefit the company and not myself? Absolutely not. I still want to benefit, so that is 100% considered in my personal approach here. Once again, I am not here for a quick buck - I have a risk profile that is based on the long term development of the company that is in it's final leg of transformation kickoff.
So, I ask myself this. Do I want to be the trader, or the investor?
The typical trader here has a different risk assessment. They show up for the birthdays & holidays. They show up for Christmas & Easter church service. They will come for the free lunch. "Maybe see you again soon"
The investor is there everyday, doing the hard work. Chipping away, brick by brick. They are there when you're sick, sad, or hurting - not just for the smiles & celebrations.
Maybe I didn't always get the best entry or dip.
But I showed up & I fought for what I believed in.
So, my weighted risk of why I hold warrants right now is on a number of factors that apply to myself and myself alone. It's some narrative & some logic. Risk v reward. I still have bought these during the VWAP period.
But at the end of the day, I want to contribute to helping Gamestop so they can make that extra $ from exercising. I am betting on RC's judgement & stewardship.
A friend has always said "do what's best for you". I will do that for me & you should do that for you.
So, I am going to keep building because I believe in the future & that the best is yet to come.
