Aaron Boone says he still channels John Sterling in the dugout after every win: “Ballgame over, Yankees win, thuuuuu Yankees win!” “My coaches look at me like I’m nuts.”

579 games.
That is how long #Yankees Aaron Judge has had an OPS above 1.114—at 1.116 since April 19, 2022.
Why that 1.114?
That is the career-high mark of Albert Pujols.

A catcher hitting 60 home runs is an amazing narrative. But here’s another:
In July, it looked like Aaron Judge might need surgery. The Yankees were preparing to sell off players in a worst case scenario, according to @martinonyc. Bellinger, Grisham, Williams all could’ve been gone. They wouldn’t have added Bednar, McMahon, etc. Judge is so valuable that the Yankees considered raising the white flag on their season if he couldn’t play.
Now they prepare for Game 162 with a chance to win the division.

FOX not wanting to tell the audience that Aaron Judge and Ohtani are two of many who aren’t even in the stadium anymore right now is funny
John Bacon did not call this strike 3. The MLB Umpires association will not hold him accountable. Because of course not.
