I teach databases some manners and train them to better serve their owners. I tweet my weird ideas here in an effort to avoid blurting them out in meetings.

Crushed candy canes are great as a Christmas topping if you can't find any bits of shattered windshield in your neighborhood.

Unfortunately the number of #cve security bugs is steadily increasing with growing complexity in #db2 cvedetails.com/product/3424/… – at Schwerte, Deutschland
To paraphrase a quote about cameras, the best Db2 server OS is the one your sysadmins are best at managing. The Windows Db2 environments I see most often are virtualized, sub-terabyte, OLTP, and mirrored via HADR. No drama - Db2 just works, and 11.5 brings exciting new options.

Starting to look at possible methods for writing the db2 diagnostic log to stdout. This is for good reasons in a docker/K8's environment. I can see several different paths forward. Google isn't helping me much. Has anyone tried this and can share what worked best? #Db2
