In my role with @meanwhile I often call out what I view as a clear distinction between BTC yield and getting (USD) yield on BTC, and am a believer the risk-free rate of BTC yield is 0%.

Here's how a BTC WL policy can address custodial risk:
If a custodian suffered a catastrophic key compromise tomorrow, that would be a loss to Meanwhile's balance sheet — not a reduction in your policy value. Your benefit is what the policy says it is.
