The amount of young people (c 20s) who have no clue how the US government works is just a real indictment on our education system.
The ever-present “Why doesn’t X just do Y?” Because we have three branches, usually all working in some form of opposition. Just…so frustrating.
Finished @SGJ72 ‘s I Was a Teenage Slasher two days ago and it won’t leave me. Just genius. Funny, clever, sad. Read it.
I just came to and I had ordered this. No idea what happened, but daddy I love me a cardigan. @taylornation13 @taylorswift13
I’m finding out on this #tsTTPD release eve that the 1989 cardigan is remarkably good at repelling red wine stains. Don’t ask how I know. @taylornation13 @taylorswift13
Me, going back and overthinking all the @taylorswift13 lyrics from Reputation to present. #TSTTPD @taylornation13
Lordy, as someone who grew up in the Idaho Falls area and went to church in Blackfoot, etc., every note of @SGJ72 ‘s Indian Lake Trilogy sings to me. What a marvelous send-off for Jade.
Rewatching @TheAmericansFX and wondering @MatthewRhys if there was ever a plan to show Philip/Clark reaching out to Martha in the finale? My head-canon has him checking up on her.
Speak Now TV gave us “When Emma Falls in Love,” so I’m eagerly awaiting @taylorswift13’s follow-up, “When Sophie Dumps a Dick.” #TaylorSwift
OK, #AndJustLikeThat - you got me with the Annabelle Bronstein callback. @KimCattrall nailed it.
Seeking some research help for an honors student thesis. Student is interested in the #BookTok community and how it inflects/influences readership. I suspect a lot of BookTok research is currently in the works, so and leads for the student would be appreciated!
Almost tossed a beverage all over myself thanks to an Insidious: The Red Door jump scare, so thanks, @patrickwilson73!
Live footage of me listening to @NotJustTudors when @sixteenthCgirl mused that Hilary Mantel would have loved to have seen Cromwell’s Book of Hours.
