꒰ Where it all began...꒱. ܁₊ ⊹ . ܁˖ . ܁ “My dear, You may find it awfully unpoised of me to send you this letter on a whim, but you must listen to what I have to say. I find it a blessing to be able to live as a human. I know you may feel down at times, for the amount of knowledge that you possess. Ignorance is bliss, they say. Knowing that you are a human, that you’re meagre and vulnerable in the grand scheme of things may be terrifying. But don’t you worry? Man is only a reed, the weakest in nature, but he is a thinking reed. There is no need for the whole universe to take up arms to crush him: a vapour, a drop of water is enough to kill him. But even if the universe were to crush him, man would still be nobler than his slayer, because he knows that he is dying and the advantage the universe has over him. The universe knows none of this. I’ve found myself to love my humanity, embracing it more than ever. But I have not yet understood it. At the time you’re reading this, I probably would be embarking on a journey. It’s one I voluntarily took in order to find the meaning of my very existence in this universe. This letter ends here. But my story has just begun.” ──★ commission artist: @dbrdoom commission writer: @/Ain2710
