Peter Pacheco from @StateFarm came out to review the damage to our home. Thank you so much for coming, listening, and understanding.

I don’t understand why @StateFarm won’t cover the roof, which they insured. Our roof is falling apart and State Farm issues a letter. I’m confused as there was no inspection either 🤔

Concerns about @StateFarm homeowners policy. I have had the policy for 8 yrs & never had to submit a claim until Dec 2023 for roof damage. still waiting for the claim to be approved, while the condition worsens & there’s mold. no response from State Farm. I don’t know what to do.

Another week and no update from State Farm. Our ceiling caves in more as the roof situation is pretty dire. Received a call from a @StateFarm rep to schedule an inspection. Of course, we left a message. Paying customers get mistreated by this company.

Christine Amanpour has met every Iranian President since 1995, and always wore a head scarf as is required for interviews that take place in Iran. As a female journalist, she respectfully declined to wear one for a scheduled interview in NYC. Good for her. cnn.com/videos/world/2022/09…

@GCRTA My parents are elderly and my mom is disabled. It's very difficult for her to walk. She expressed concern that it's always a challenge when riding RTA bus. She's often told that the lifts don't work and my dad has to pick her up & carry her onto the bus.

Riders who are not elderly are in the priority seating & drivers don't ask them to move. Are there any efforts being made to improve the RTA system for elderly riders?

We can only be left to wonder. Is this another publicly-funded building project @MayorBowser would like to use to further enrich a favored developer? Does she think DC kids don't deserve recreational facilities? I don't know and I'd like answers. fdia.org/newrink/ (2/2)

DC has been dinking around for years about renovating/rebuilding/expanding the city's only indoor ice arena. Now just weeks before the slated demolition, DC throws out a wildly inflated cost estimate and doubles the timeline, therefore killing the project. Why you may ask? (1/2)

Wow: In an open letter, the board of the Friends of Fort Dupont Ice Arena say the long-standing facility will not be closing this week as planned for a new rink to be built. Board members say D.C. has mismanaged the construction process and they worry the rink would never reopen.

Thank you @DOES_DC . No more error messages on your site. It also appears the investigation of my identity being compromised has been resolved. This is a relief.

Contacted DC DOES again about their site errors, specifically, the Invalid Captcha error when trying to reset a password. The error is in all browsers (mobile and desktop). No response again from DOES, just an autogenerated message. Do better @DOES_DC
Invalid captcha errors, a merry-go-round of service, & finger-pointing for victims of UI fraud, outdated .net app (hasn't been updated since 2006) fraught with error messages in all browsers, unanswered emails, countless calls, and excuses - this is a problem. Do better @DOES_DC
