The Kavanaugh stops are heading in the expected direction. Nice job, Justice Kavanaugh. Your reasoning will go down is history as a tragic joke. This should not happen in America. “Show me your papers”.

As someone who has been a journalist for almost 40 year, working as a senior writer at the New York Times, Newsweek, etc, the decision by @WilliamLewis, a Murdoch alum, to cripple the @washingtonpost by abandoning endorsements, is one of the most craven actions I've ever seen../1

This is disingenuous and silly - aggression disguised as commentary. People are angry because it’s a telling sign that the owner of the paper doesn’t want to cross Trump and is afraid of repercussions of doing so. People who value civic democracy understand this.
I've just proudly cast my vote for Kamala Harris. I hope that all of you do too, as early as you can. This is the most inportant election in at least half a century.

To achieve the world’s climate goals, we need all the tools in the tool kit. Direct Air Capture (DAC) is one of those critical tools, making today’s DOE announcement a major milestone. This piece by @AndreasenJack from @Breakthrough is a great explainer on DAC and why we’ll need it alongside the clean energy transition. b-gat.es/4403fLS

Absolutely incredible authors' note:

The idea for Pence to recuse and allow Grassley take over on January 6th came from Ken Chesebro.
He proposed it in an email to Rudy Giuliani on Dec 13, which he also sent to John Eastman on Jan 2nd, and again on Jan 4th.

Grassley deserves far more scrutiny; goal on 1/6 was to replace Pence (who was being "too honest") and replace him with Grassley (like the prior Trump plan for DOJ Attorney General).
