Christina Mitchell

Summer is a loving mom of three and a business owner. When the pandemic hit, she lost clients as her job as a hairstylist. Trying to plan for the holidays became stressful financially. Thanks to you, she was able to get a meal and toys for her kids to open on Christmas morning.

Oftentimes our volunteers who spend time in the tent have stories to tell. Vanessa is a mom of 7 and works for @MoffittNews . Her 3-year-old nephew is fighting leukemia. She shared that time isn’t always on our side. She decided to volunteer in honor of her nephew. #WhoYouHelp

MOST NEEDED ITEMS: - Teen Gifts (boys especially) - Cereal - Yams #TurnThingsAround #BeHope

Jeanna visited the #HolidayTent on Friday and got gifts for #Christmas. Then her car was rear ended, caught fire, and all the gifts were burned. She thought her Christmas was lost. But today...she’s getting her gifts and her #Hope back. #TurnThingsAround

Gifts for teenagers (especially boys age 13-17) are in short supply; the shelves are bare. Help meet the need before Christmas as hundreds of struggling families come to the #HolidayTent each day. #BeHope

Did you know our reach has expanded? Every blue pin on this map represents #hope. Right now we need gift items for infants, educational toys, gifts for teen boys and girls (age 13-17) as well as hams, yams, canned vegetables and cereal. With your help we will #TurnThingsAround.
