the devo branch of Gendl already carries native surfaces (including trimmed) via a native batten-based NURBS kernel which is now on board by default. Load via basalt for best experience: genworks.com/basalt github.com/genworks/basalt .

Using humans as manual macro-expanders is an expensive and unreliable use of their neurons. Using LLMs as tokenual macro-expanders is an expensive and unreliable use of their neurons. Solution: use a language with macros.

Now 51 impls, including the historical section. Wikipedia is now somewhat stale compared to clnet (link in comments). Wikipedia probably should just punt and link to us.

So Earth currently sits at 19 impls, if we include experimental and in-development. Looks like we'll need some new planets soon if impls keep multiplying like this...

If the cost of creating a new Lisp implementation approaches zero, the number of Lisp implementations approaches infinity. The only remaining bottleneck is how quickly programmers can invent new reasons to fork one.

Future archaeologists will discover that humanity became a multi-planetary civilization not because we solved propulsion, but because Common Lisp developers needed enough planets to host all the implementation forks. 🚀 λ
