When did the Onion start reporting real news? theonion.com/wealthy-hospita… via @theonion
You can learn a lot from this article. Those with Apoe44 tend to be slow progressors, ARIA has no clear long term consequences, amyloid mabs are not for everyone.

A "peer to peer" denial on a 57 yo with early AD. FDA approved disease modifying drug. The 'doctor' would not tell me his NPI number after I questioned his credentials. How am I to know he's a physician when he mispronounces the drug? How is this not health care fraud?

Surprise - FTLD-TDP Type C is a dual proteinopathy! Annexin A11 co-accumulates with TDP-43 in all cases of FTLD-TDP Type C. #annexinopathy

Love this: Beat AD by:
"(1) accurate molecular understanding... (2) pharmacological agents that can safely interfere with.. steps in this trajectory; (3) objective, well-executed human trials that demonstrate reduction of its classical pathology and accompanying symptoms."
The advent of Alzheimer treatments will change the trajectory of human aging. Super article by Dennis Selkoe that sets a robust and logical case for the amyloid hypothesis and strategies disease modification. Good reading for students and experts. nature.com/articles/s43587-0…
Next frontier in vascular imaging, I’m sure this will help separate malignant versus benign stenosis.

(THREAD) This is a live thread of the testimony of Michael Cohen in Donald Trump’s criminal trial. Its author is a NYT-bestselling Trump biographer and former criminal defense attorney. I’ll not only be covering the testimony live but adding essential background.

I think Ackman and RFK are the same person.
One of our most important civic obligations is participating in the political process and deciding whom to vote for in our upcoming presidential election. By now everyone seems to think that this election is a two-horse race, and many have complained about the options.
I think all of us need to consider another viable option, that is @RobertKennedyJr. He is only viable if we consider him as the act of including him for consideration is what makes him a viable alternative.
I have not decided whether or not I will vote for RFK, but I have spent considerable time with him over the last few months and believe that he is both a viable candidate and one worthy of serious consideration.
In order to be able to consider RFK, you need to put aside what you have read about RFK or ‘heard’ about him, and rather listen to what he has actually said and read what he has actually written.
If you do so, I think you will be intrigued. This is not to say that you will agree with all of his policies, but you won’t agree with all of @POTUS Biden’s or @realDonaldTrump’s either.
I have decided that I am not going to vote for Biden for various reasons which I will enumerate at another time, but I am seriously considering @RFK and @realDonaldTrump.
None of us need to make a decision now, but we should carefully study the alternatives so when the election comes, we can make an educated decision.
I have a favorable impression of RFK based on the hours that we have spent together and his willingness to take on controversial views even when any campaign adviser would advise him to not go there.
One of the most important qualities for a president in my opinion is a willingness to make decisions based on principles regardless of what the polls might say. RFK has shown time and again that he is willing to do so. This is a mark of strong character in my view.
To get to know him better, watch this mini-doc on his life. I think you will find it interesting and enjoyable to watch.
We cannot rely on the media to tell us whom to vote for. The media have their own agenda and in my experience that agenda is not always aligned and perhaps often not aligned with what is best for our country.
We owe it to ourselves and our country to listen, learn and judge. I trust the wisdom of the American people to get this right, but only if we take the time to do our research.
