There are many ways for Israel to impose famine on Gaza. The traditional method is a siege. This is complemented by a campaign to destroy the international aid network that keeps Palestinians alive. Israel has blocked vital groups from operating in Gaza, while its allies cut funding to those still allowed to be there.
Sadism prevails:
🚨 Due to funding shortages, WFP is forced to reduce food assistance in Gaza by around one-third, meaning half a million people will lose access to critical aid.
The cuts come as winter approaches and the recent modest improvements in food security remain fragile.
From this month, we are supporting 1.1 million of the most vulnerable people in Gaza with food and cash assistance, down from 1.6 million last month. Food rations will also be cut by half.
WFP urgently calls for additional funding in order to keep reaching the most vulnerable in Gaza and the West Bank.

The son of American photojournalist Heidi Levine tells NBC News his mother had skin graft surgery on her hand and was treated for fractured ribs and vertebrae following a series of settler attacks on her, Palestinian farmers, activists and European diplomats in the West Bank, in which 10 people were arrested.
“She’s angered that all of this is happening because she’s a famous American journalist,” he said, “and not because of the daily suffering of the Palestinian people.”
