The part that keeps reminding me of my age.
The part that compares my life to everyone else’s.
The part that makes me feel behind because I haven’t reached the milestones I thought I would have reached by now.
Sometimes, I look around and feel like everyone is moving forward while I’m still waiting for things I’ve been praying about for years.
I thought I’d be further in my career by now. I thought I’d have certain prayers answered, certain dreams fulfilled, and certain parts of my life figured out.
And honestly, Lord, I’m afraid of running out of time.
You restored what seemed lost in Joel 2:25.
Teach me not to rush through the season I’m in just because I’m anxious about the season ahead.
A change in plans doesn’t mean God has forgotten you. Keep trusting Him, even when the path looks different than expected.
You may not see the whole path ahead, but you can take the next step with faith. Trust God to guide you.
You don’t need to carry every worry alone. Take a moment to pray and let God’s peace settle your heart.
