I’ve been to Tennessee multiple times. Each time, I’ve seen Confederate flags outside of homes, and statues of Confederate soldiers. It’s not Sharia you have to worry about.
As your governor, I’ll protect Tennessee from Sharia law and the spread of Islamization.

“In the Florida governor’s race, David Jolly has made political decency a central part of his campaign during one of the nastiest midterm seasons in recent memory. Facing off against Donalds—a 48-year-old congressman and staunch Trump ally—Jolly is waging a campaign aimed at voters who want a less divisive, more civil kind of politics.” Being a thoughtful, considerate, genuinely-nice candidate seems like a reasonable way of running a campaign. It’s the type of campaign that’s been rare in our country since 2016. If you’d like to see us get back to respective and honest politics, you need to support and reward the decent and civil candidates like @davidjollyfl in 2026.

How many scandalous activities can Don Jr. get up to in just one hunting trip? Well, a lot it appears. One of them happened to be with Safari Club International, which auctioned off a hunting trip with him. Buying access to power is always an ethics concern.

Maine and Michigan could go Republican on election night. Troy Jackson is holding on by one point. You need to fucking vote, people. El-Sayed keeps on getting backstabbed. Michigan is a nail biter. Wake the fuck up. Vote like everything is on the line.

Trump eases sanctions on Russia and begins buying Russian diesel. Days later, Musk restricts Starlink service in Ukraine, disrupting its military operations and its ability to defend itself.   And now we’re learning directly from Putin that Russia has been in contact with Musk.   How on earth did we get to this point? How is it possible that Musk can disrupt an American ally’s military operations whenever he chooses, maintain a clear line to the Kremlin, and face zero accountability to the American people or the U.S. government?   I want to know what Musk has been discussing with Russian officials, whether those conversations had anything to do with the Starlink disruptions, and what the Trump Administration knew.
Yesterday, Putin revealed that Russian authorities are "in close touch" with Elon Musk about the technology Ukraine needs to defend itself. Our new report @TheAtlantic investigates how @elonmusk went from supporting Ukraine to coordinating with Moscow. theatlantic.com/national-sec…

Maybe this hit me in a certain way because I am from Mississippi, but this from @scott_colom is the most inspiring, emotional closing argument of 2026.
Medgar Evers was killed in his driveway because he refused to accept a Mississippi where some were denied the right to vote. He stood with thousands who marched, organized and sacrificed so future generations could have a voice. We owe it to them not to take that right for granted. On Tuesday, honor their legacy. Vote.

Ossoff: We will all look back on what we did these weeks — and now these hours — with pride. We'll be able to look at our kids and our grandkids and know that we did everything in our power to right the ship, to fight for the kind of country and the kind of world where we want to raise our kids. I want to raise my girls in a country where nobody dies because they can't afford health care. I want to raise my girls in a state where foster children are not trafficked into abuse. I want to raise my girls in a country where our leaders make us proud and bring us together. So, are you all ready to work these next few hours to make that a reality? Let's get this done together.
