I'm thinking I'm going to be reorganizing this false starter comic, cut & move pages around, & start from a chosen segment. Nothing in most of these pages negates anything I've reworked so why not add them to it? Might make them a new webcomic. Some of the pages got to go though.
Here's a "false starter" comic I found on my external hard drive that I thought I would share. It's based on the second comic I wrote as a kid that I've tried adapting a couple times, but it gets lost every time I try to make it work.

Now I've got to figure out what I'm doing for the logo...it's a rough one...I've been playing around with fonts and brushes for an hour trying to figure out what I want...might have to rest on it.

I absolutely hated that Stacy's Mom song...X seems to know what I hate and wants to repeatedly show it to me until I finally shut it down and find the "mute conversation" button. "Stacy's Mom" is just the most recent example of this.

There was always a good chance that this would do well. It's a horror flick. Moviegoers like horror flicks. Some may not even know this is based on a comic. My fear is that the norm will become making superhero properties into horror flicks even if they aren't suited for that.
‘CLAYFACE’ has opened with $43M worldwide. Budget was $44M.

I wish this app wouldn't automatically turn sound on when you enlarge a video. It's a jumpscare nearly every time.

Nu-Metal had rap elements...I don't hear it here. Not to say it's bad, but just by this clip, I wouldn't call it Nu-Metal. Sounds like Breaking Benjamin mixed with Nonpoint(without the speedy vocals). Post Nu-Metal perhaps? I'm unfamiliar with what that era was called.
Someone just sent me this. The vibe is a mix of axe body spray, original green monster and ps2 racing.

Admittedly Rocket and Groot are ridiculous by comic book standards. They're just ridiculous enough to work really well if played straight-laced. If they were treated like Looney Toons, it wouldn't work.
Amanda Seyfried says she turned down Guardians of the Galaxy because she thought a talking tree and raccoon in space would ruin her career "I think turning down Guardians of the Galaxy was just I mean, it’s it was so obvious to me at the time. I’m like, this is not going to be a hit. Like they’re talking, the tree and the raccoon are talking to each other. They’re in space. And also they’re all in space. Yeah. And I was just like I I this will ruin my career if this is bad. And there’s a high chance that this could be bad" "I mean, obviously I was wrong. But I still don’t take back that decision. I made it for myself. I made it for my my family that I knew I wanted to have. And I and I just don’t want to spend all the time in the makeup trailer" "I just I I I I don’t I can’t sit still anyway. Um and I really don’t like stunts and I don’t like heights and I don’t like pretending the entire world. I need something to hold on to" "Not saying it’s not. It’s just not for me"

People think big arms = strength, but somehow can't see that it's all a system. He's not JUST lifting with his arms. His whole torso is lifting. The torso/belly has tons of muscle. Try to perform abdominal surgery on that man and you'll be cutting through muscle for hours.
Unrelated, but why do powerlifters mostly have potbellies?

Being cut does not always = strength, being lean does not always = strength, being thin at the waist doesn't = strength. Having muscle and fuel to power that muscle, having a full system of muscle to support pointed action, mass in every muscle including your belly = strength.

I finished reading this today. This is the stuff I most know Jodorowsky from. On to the third volume of this series!

Today I watched The Dark Crystal all the way through for the first time. I watched all kinds of horror movies in the 80's, but this is the movie that just creeped me out. Of all things it was the Gelfling main character that was creepy. Soething about the doll eyes, & long face.

So I watched it and it was alright...don't know if I have much else to say about it.

Turns out all those studios being involved didn't hurt the film. Watched "Late Night With The Devil". Really good. No complaints after the numerous credit reels. That just made it hard to tell just when the movie actually began, but once it did, it was great.
Started a movie and it had at least seven or eight studio opening credit reels...I didn't count exactly but it could've been pushing ten...not sure if that means the movie will be good or not.

Yes. I've been to Louisiana's, Texas', and New York's most popular attractions.
Have you been to your State‘s most popular attraction?

So the question I have for you, internet, is would that be considered cannibalism or just conserving resources?
Was mowing some long grass and while there were a lot of them, what mosquitoes were there were level 4 kaiju sized. I smashed one on my arm and it left a blood puddle(as they do), looked away to swat others, looked back, and an even bigger mosquito was drinking the puddle.

The Special CASE is the 4th comic book story I ever created, and it's the one I've written the most stories for. I started it in high-school and wrote it throughout college. I have 7 five subject notebooks full of stories. After college I decided to rewrite the whole thing.

I've created other books since, but most of them just build on The Special CASE story and universe. I've gone back and reworked all of my old comic stories except for that superhero team book, but there are ideas for it always swimming around and it's become backstory anyways.

I love building layers to the stories I was pretty randomly throwing down back then, and exploring/expanding every facet of these worlds I've created, and yes, I do obsess over it. Now, if only I obsessed over making money off of it in the same way...
