😳😳🚨🚨 DON'T SCROLL PAST THIS!!
A Manchester United supporter has broken down exactly what we need to know about Eddie Howe if he becomes our next manager! 👀🔴
✅ THE POSITIVES:
🔹 He will make these players RUN! He coaches a very physical and aggressive style of play.
🔹 He almost always plays players in their best and most suitable positions.
🔹 He's great at getting the best out of underrated/overlooked players (Murphy, Almiron, Joelinton, Gordon, Barnes, etc.).
🔹 He's meticulous and prepares for games really well.
🔹 He has a pretty good big-game record.
🔹 Gives his players very clear instructions on the pitch.
❌ THE NEGATIVES:
🔻 Doesn't prioritize patient build-up or possession football. Newcastle's possession rankings:
• 2022/23: 10th — 51%
• 2023/24: 8th — 52.2%
• 2024/25: 11th — 50.6%
🔻 Struggles with PLAN Bs when his initial approach fails. Remember his reaction against Amorim's United when he had to ask his goalkeeper to go down and buy him some time?
🔻 His in-game management isn't at a top level. He makes reactive substitutions that rarely make an impact. As of March 2025, he'd made over 100 substitutions as Newcastle manager but had scored just 2 goals from them.
🔻 He has yet to prove himself at a club facing the immense scrutiny and public attention that comes with Manchester United.
🔻 He may be comfortable working with whatever limited budget INEOS provides, without pushing for higher demands, having already worked with tight budgets.
🗣️ PERSONAL OPINION:
He's a good, underrated coach who will undoubtedly improve us, but I don't think he can take us past the finish line, especially not with INEOS in charge.

On Eddie Howe, here are some things you should know about him, should he get appointed as #mufc manager
✅ THE GOOD
- He will make these players RUN! He coaches a very physical and aggressive style of play.
- He almost always plays players in their best and most suitable positions.
- He's really good at getting the best out of underrated/overlooked players (murphy, almiron, joelinton, Gordon, Barnes ,etc)
- He's very meticulous and prepares for games really well..
- He has a pretty good 'big game' record..
- Gives his players very clear instructions on the pitch..
❌ THE NOT SO GOOD/BAD
- If you're looking to become a possession based side, Eddie Howe isn't the man for you as he doesn't prioritize patient build-up/possession footy (Newcastle ranked 10th in 2022/23 – 51%, 8th in 2023/24 – 52.2% and 11th in 2024/25 – 50.6%)..
- While he's very meticulous and prepares for games really well, he's not the best at having PLAN Bs.. when his initial plan fails to work, he struggles a lot to cook up a plan B..(remember his look when he faced Amorim's united and had to ask his GK to fall to the ground and buy him some time?)
- His in-game management isn't at a top level either.. he makes reactive subs and they rarely make an impact (as of March 2025, he had made over 100 subs as Newcastle manager but scored just 2 goals from that)
- He has yet to prove himself at the top level at a club with immense scrutiny and public attention..
- He will be comfortable working with whatever peanuts the GLINEOS management hand him and won't necessarily push or have very high demands as he's already accustomed to working with tight budgets..
Personal opinion - He's a good/underrated coach who will undoubtedly improve us, but i don't think he can take us past the finish line, especially not with GLINEOS in charge..
what do you think?

wow! what a genius!
🚨 José Mourinho: "I told Camavinga that Tchouaméni will stay low and protect the defense, and you will attack SPACE.
It's difficult for any attackers to attack space against Barcelona, the only solution is to do it with your MIDFIELDERS.
When your attackers do it, Barca's defense is prepared and coached for that, and your attackers end up being offside, or the pass ends up being cut by Joan Garcia.
The solution is to use midfielders like Camavinga and Bellingham to break that line, and it worked."

"He cares [about the club], but I don't think he absolutely wants the job.

Using Germany as a the key metric to why Nagelsmann shouldn’t come is so funny
Enrique and Flick both failed with international management and they’re the two best in the world right now
