everyone walked out of thunderbolts* thinking the fantastic four were on that ship, and we all fell for doctor doom's trap.
reed and sue aren't on the ship entering earth-616. doom is, and he kidnapped franklin richards on his way out.
marvel confirmed avengers doomsday takes place 14 months after thunderbolts*. doom stole reed's ship, came to 616 wearing tony stark's face, and spent 14 months pretending to be an ally to sabotage every team from the inside:
new avengers (thunderbolts*): bucky and yelena trust him because he looks like tony and claims his earth died.
bruce banner (endgame encore): doom uses 616's own shield files to find banner's bunker 2 miles underground.
earth-10005 (x-men): doom reprograms the sentinels to frame 616 and start a war with professor x and magneto.
shang-chi & wakanda: doom uses the ten rings beacon and shuri's vibranium network to map the incursion points.
fantastic four (first steps): reed and sue arrive 14 months later in doomsday to warn 616 that doom stole their ship and their son.
by the time the real fantastic four reach 616, doom has already been living there as "tony" for over a year.
only question is which 616 hero figures out doom's lie first. who's your bet?

I never trusted strange on this decision.. we are going to find out he made a greedy decision watch
Doctor Strange didn't pick the 1 in 14,000,605 timeline because it was the only way to beat Thanos. he picked it because it was the only timeline that got rid of both Thanos AND Tony Stark at the same time.
go back and watch how Strange talks to Tony on the ship. he realized early on that a guy smart enough to build Ultron and time travel in a weekend was eventually going to be a bigger threat to the multiverse than Thanos ever was.

be honest, if Tony survived Endgame with full access to time travel and all six stones on Earth, how long before he accidentally caused an incursion trying to build a multiverse suit of armor around the world?

so hes going to trap sentry and hulk inside his armor?? that sounds insane wtf
nobody noticed that the markings on doctor doom's armor just solved the biggest unanswered mystery in the mcu.
when doom breaks into bruce banner's bunker in endgame encore, glowing runes appear on the floor that match the symbols etched into his suit and the ten rings.
everyone thought marvel dropped the phase 4 artifact plotlines when they moved on from kang. they didn't. doom is coming to earth-616 in avengers doomsday because the pieces of his god emperor armor are scattered across the colliding universes:
shang-chi's ten rings: sending a beacon into deep space since 2021 straight to doom's citadel.
wakanda & talokan vibranium: why shuri and namor are both in doomsday (doom needs pure vibranium so his armor doesn't burn out like tony's nano gauntlet).
the green runes (endgame encore): ancient latverian sorcery etched into his suit to cage cosmic power like hulk.
sentry & the void (thunderbolts*): the dark-matter battery to power the armor once loki's tree falls.
franklin richards (first steps) & the x-men: the reality spark to weld the surviving earths into battleworld.
doom isn't invading earth-616 just to conquer it. 616 has been holding the missing pieces of his suit for thousands of years.
only piece missing is who hid the ten rings on earth in the first place. who's your bet?

Quick update: changed the name from DailyMarvel97 to Damage Control Notes. The old name was just a bit too generic. Same exact account, same content, just a brand that actually fits what we do here—sifting through the MCU details everyone else misses. Appreciate you all rolling with the change and sticking around

everyone is asking where thor and steve are going when they hit the bifrost at the end of the new doomsday spot, and i think we already saw the answer in the first trailer.
the bifrost is only supposed to connect the nine realms on the world tree. it can't just jump to the TVA on its own.
except loki literally turned the multiverse into yggdrasil at the end of season 2, and the TVA card he hands steve has the world tree symbol on the back.
loki gave steve the exact branch coordinates so stormbreaker's bifrost can ride the tree straight to the TVA. thor and steve are going to the end of time to see loki.

Steve Rogers spent his entire life telling Tony that "we don't trade lives" just to go back to 1945 and let Bucky get tortured by HYDRA for 70 years so he wouldn't mess up his own retirement.
you cannot convince me the guy who tore the Avengers apart to save Bucky in Civil War just sat on a porch in the 1950s knowing his best friend was actively frozen in a Soviet bunker down the street.

everyone is asking why doctor doom looks like tony stark in doomsday, but we have it backwards.
tony stark was the variant. victor von doom is who he was always meant to be.
in loki, he who remains rigged the 616 timeline so nobody could ever rival the tva. across the multiverse, victor is the baseline version of that soul because he masters both tech and magic.
to keep 616 safe, he who remains made sure he was born to the starks instead of in latveria. no magic, just an arc reactor and a path where he dies in endgame.
that's why endgame encore uses the 2008 cave hammer sound for doom forging his mask. 616 just got a nerfed version of doom built to die early.
would this make tony's death hit harder or ruin it?

everyone thinks steve catching Mjolnir in the doomsday trailer proves to thor that it’s really steve rogers.
what if that’s the exact trick the russos are pulling on us?
after sacrificing everything in season 2 to hold the multiverse together, loki is 100% worthy of mjolnir now.
we just saw loki show up at steve and peggy’s house in endgame encore to help hide them before doom comes collecting "stolen lives." what if loki is using his illusions to pose as steve in doomsday to protect the real cap's family and the only reason the disguise works on thor is because loki can actually summon the hammer now?
look at the lighting in that trailer shot again. "the sun will shine on us again."

one word in the endgame encore post-credits scene just gave away the entire plot of avengers doomsday.
when doom breaks into bruce banner's bunker, he doesn't try to kill the hulk. he says "i'm here to collect you."
physical infinity stones don't work outside their home universe. so to stop the incursions and build battleworld, doom is using runes to build a living infinity gauntlet out of heroes who embody the 6 stones:
franklin richards is reality (first steps post-credits).
hulk and sentry are raw power.
professor x and jean grey are mind.
thor's daughter love was literally born from eternity.
loki and shang-chi's ten rings are time and space.
that's why loki knocks on steve rogers' door in the 1950s. steve's past timeline is the only blind spot where doom's runes can't track them.
only piece missing is who doom sacrifices for the soul stone. who's your bet?

Be honest, is there a single cleaner 3-second combo in the entire MCU than Cap bouncing the shield off Thanos and batting it right back into him with Mjolnir? Because I really don’t think anything else even comes close.

Thor threw Mjonr at the woman who conquered the Nine Realms with it first.
Mjolnir was Hela’s hand-me-down gift to Thor. But technically, her Asgardian power was so overpowered that her grip strength exceeded the structural limit of Uru metal. That's why she squeezed it into chalk with one hand

watching Endgame hits way harder when you realize Rocket was an Avenger longer than he was a Guardian
he only knew Quill, Gamora, and Drax for 4 years before the Snap, then spent 5 straight years during the Blip living with Natasha, Nebula, and Steve. when he breaks down after Nat dies, he'd known her longer than his own crew
