Official Statement | Security Incident Update
TL;DR: No private keys were compromised, unaffected wallets are safe, and all affected users will be fully reimbursed by Bloom.
Following our investigation, we have identified the exact attack vector and confirmed the scope of the incident.
The attack exploited a third-party module through a complex Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability. No private keys were accessed or compromised, and we have ruled out broader exposure of users' wallets.
Incident Overview
Affected: 49 wallet addresses belonging to 9 users.
β’ Total losses: Approximately 9,408 SOL ($947,000).
β’ Root cause: Exploited third-party module enabling an RCE vulnerability.
β’ Refunds: Bloom will fully reimburse 100% of the stolen funds directly to secure wallets designated by the affected users.
β’ We are also working to trace the stolen funds, explore recovery and freezing options, and identify the attacker.
Our team has been developing software since 2018 and operating in crypto since 2021. We are an established team, committed to building for the long term and protecting the trust of our users.
Security threats are an unfortunate reality of this industry, even with extensive precautions in place. Our commitment to user safety, transparency, and business continuity remains unchanged.

Bloom says no private keys were compromised and will fully reimburse affected users.
Never link anything crypto related to your real home address. Get a PO Box, or use a dummy address that is mail forwarded to somewhere we you can get your mail.
We owe you an apology.
On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe.
Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices).
Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords.
We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers.
Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us.
NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself.
A detailed report is coming soon.
Until then, trust only our official channels. If anything feels off, email [email protected]. We'd rather hear from you than have you take a chance.
Again, we're truly sorry to everyone affected.

7) Destroy all devices you own that use electricity
8) Move to the woods and become a hermit, abandon society entirely
Lots of Security incidents today, here's some practical tips for those who just wanna protect yourself:
1) UPDATE EVERYTHING - main targets are:
a) Browsers - Chrome, Safari, Firefox
b) OS: ο£Ώ: Settings -> General -> software update; Linux: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade; Windows: I think there's a button. Do this for any remote home servers & Openclaw/hermes boxes
c) Phones: Update it all
d) Desktop apps (Slack, Cursor, Discord, etc)
2) Limit web browsing this week: Stay within walled gardens (twitter, youtube, etc); don't click random links this week. Just wait until the patches go through. Do step 1 again after a week.
3) Avoid untrusted Wifi networks until your devices are updated
4) Stay vigilant about phishing emails offering "certificate fixes" or fraud updates
5) Have an iPhone 11-16? TURN BLUETOOTH OFF for the time being until apple patches come through.
6) Code/Dev: UPDATE ALL YOUR REPOS - @charliermarsh has already updated uv 0.13.4 which reacts to the eMudra incident for uv (Python), Typesript according to Claude has equivelant. Tell your agents to go and update all your active repos to update package manager across uv, npm, bun, cargo, etc etc
What advice did I miss?

FluxRPC successfully migrated to Alpenglow the moment it went live on mainnet.
Faster finality means less waiting for transactions to settle, whether youβre building payment apps, trading tools or games.
Huge credit to @anza_xyz and everyone who brought Alpenglow to @solana mainnet.
Alpenglow is now live on Solana mainnet. β°οΈ
Finality just went from ~12.8 seconds to ~150ms.
The biggest consensus upgrade in Solanaβs history, built by @anza_xyz.
