What changed after someone bought from you? Would they recommend your product or service to someone else? And why? These are the kind of questions that help you get testimonials that go beyond “I love it!” They help potential customers understand the problem you solved, the value you provided and why they should consider buying from you. But don't stop at testimonials. Make referrals easy, too. Tell happy customers the kind of people you'd love to serve, how they can introduce you, and whether there's a benefit for referring someone. Don't just say, “Refer us.” Give them a clear next step. Your happy customers may already be talking about you. Give them a simple way to help others find you, too.
