YMMV, but I think Freddy using his ability to cause Jason to regress into a childhood state in the dreamscape to basically groom the guy back into compliance is easily the creepiest thing about either series.

Something to know when traveling to New jersey for the first time. There's shadow people. There's people made of shadow and also people made out of sound, you will hear them.

i believed in toby fox when he told me to install a random .exe on my computer 8 years ago. i will believe in him when he ends his game like umineko and pisses everyone off. anybody who says otherwise is a coward

learning that this information was revealed 2 years ago and never followed up on has ruined my day. on a side note, I have never fully realized just how hilarious this credits sequence is

(The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!) Again, a reminder that the 58 second version of Do The Mario is currently missing. During the credits, only ~38 seconds play. Below, I've made a recreation of the missing section.

As a kid this was my favorite part of the special and still is, its one of those quiet, transportive scenes that takes a minute simply to show evocative imagery and immerse you its world, the likes of which you never see in todays overstimulating children's media.

I feel like people who think Jack shoulda stayed in the future and killed Aku there don’t understand that this has the same message but done in a more interesting way. The mission of the show is granted but it’s a curse, with it the one he loved, who symbolizes the good people…

One evening, maybe 4 years ago, I woke up from a short form stupor realizing I had wasted 4 hrs of a precious evening. I decided to experiment with this exactly. Could I recall even one funny, interesting, novel video I had watched? The answer was, of course, no - and that horrified me so much that I haven't watched another since. Truly a scurge on society

In 50 years, one of the most common deathbed regrets will be “I wasted my life on short-form videos” and the darkest part is they won’t even remember a single one

The thing about Halloween is it makes everything more fun. I saw a guy getting a speeding ticket and that’s usually not fun but he was dressed like Super Mario
