Mike Tyson tells Joe Rogan the toad medicine felt like "dying and being reborn"
Joe Rogan: What benefits do you get out of marijuana?
Mike Tyson: If I don't have it, I have a bad day. I'm a really moody guy without it. It smooths me out, so people think I'm a whole different person.
Joe: I feel the same way sometimes. It makes me nicer and calms me down.
Tyson: When I'm high I don't think about who I am. Sometimes that's the real me, and I don't like that guy. I want to get away from that guy.
Joe: If you grow up in a high-stress environment, it's hard to ever reach a place of peace. If you can get there through marijuana, yoga, meditation, whatever, we should be happy you can get there.
Tyson: I'm so grateful. I was very uptight and very uncomfortable with myself. When I was boxing, my whole objective was hurting people. I was telling myself I was the best ever alive, all of that. Then I came across the toad, and I smoked it. I've never been the same. I look at life differently and at people differently. It's almost like dying and being reborn.
Joe: I had the exact same experience. You stop existing.
Tyson: You're submissive, humble and vulnerable, but you feel part of the universe, separate from your ego. This whole thing is a gigantic, all-encompassing living thing.
Joe: You realize how insignificant you are without the ego. In everyday life, you mean a lot to the people who love you. But no one is irreplaceable. Everyone is special to someone, and we're all part of this weird, crazy, gigantic organism that's the human race.
A man who set out to be the best ever alive says what changed him was feeling like he stopped existing.
The difference between white people and black is that they only have loyalty to the money and all feelings are either compartmentalized or nonexistent, This strategy prevails in every businesses being run.
Drake signed a $400 million deal with Universal Music. Two years later, a Universal label released a song calling him a "certified pedophile," and it did 96 million streams in 7 days, 5 Grammys and a Super Bowl show for 133 million people.
He sued his own label, saying it gave Spotify a 30% discount to push the song. A judge threw the case out. On December 4, he gets one more shot.
In the video below, Kendrick Lamar stands on the Super Bowl stage and says he'd play their favorite song, "but you know they love to sue."
Insiders called Drake's deal "LeBron-sized." Variety put it near $400 million, with his music bringing Universal around $50 million a year.
Kendrick is on Interscope. Interscope belongs to Universal too.
"Not Like Us" dropped in May 2024. 12.8 million Spotify streams in a single day, a rap record. Over 1 billion streams. 53 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, the longest run ever for a rap song.
The same week, Drake's own diss "Family Matters" debuted at number 7 with 38 million streams. Kendrick's debuted at number 1 with 70.9 million. Almost double.
Drake says the accusation in the song is false. His filings claimed bots, paid radio play, a 30% cheaper Spotify license and even payments to Apple so Siri would steer users to the song. Universal denies all of it.
Universal called the lawsuit an attack on creative freedom that never should have been filed.
In October 2025 a federal judge agreed. She ruled the lyrics were trash talk from a rap battle, not facts anyone would take literally.
Drake appealed. He still puts out his music through Universal.
Universal paid Drake $400 million to make hits. It also got paid for the biggest hit ever made against him.
Was Universal just doing business, or did Drake's own label cash in on destroying him?
Love is an emotion that also entails a responsibility within it, For all things loved good or bad a price Must be paid!
The Gun reality hits you very fast very Quick 😂
“My first time toasting an American girl as a Nigerian who travelled abroad was crazy. She followed me to my house with my friends. We offered them drinks, but they brought out their guns and said they could have robbed us because they knew we didn’t have guns, but they were the good ones.”

This one is spicy.
She’s saying Black women have a superiority complex and don’t even like Black men, they just want to control them. Want the title of “wife” but refuse to actually move like one. Always proving “I don’t need a man” while still expecting him to provide, plan, protect, and perform.
And the part that hits hardest:
“Y’all are raising the same men y’all claim to hate.”
Whether you agree or not, she’s saying the quiet part out loud.
Black men: Does this feel accurate or is she just talking?
Black women: Is she exposing something real or is this messy?
Be honest in the comments.

Finally putting my portfolio out there 👀
A few months ago, I was still figuring things out. Now I am designing, playing with colours, moving pixels around and turning random ideas into something real 😂🪄
Still learning. Still sharpening. Still a long way to go, but I am enjoying the journey.
