Even with 3 turnovers UK still ran 71 plays and averaged 5.1 yards per play. Problem was 3 turnovers and 7 penalties for 50 yards
6/6 And for persistent outliers? Weekly Variance determines Promotion/Relegation; Season Variance tracks persistent outliers thru the season. If a voter finishes in the bottom 10 for Season Variance in 2 seasons during their tenure, replace them, and give a new voter a chance...
5/6 This preserves the current voting process while reducing the influence of voters with recent outlier ballots. What do you think??? Will it work?
4/6 The 30 voters furthest from Consensus are “Relegated” the following week. The 70 closest stay or are “Promoted” into the group whose ballots count toward the next Consensus.
3/6 The AP could use a vetted statistical measure like MAD/LPD (PollBehavior.com) or FIT (IronFootball.app) to quantify how far each ballot deviates from the Consensus.

2/6 Expand the voter pool from 70 to 100. All 100 submit ballots weekly, but only 70 count toward the AP Poll Consensus. How do we choose? Measure each voter’s “Variance from Consensus.”

1/6 What if the AP Poll could bench its worst voters every week? RELEGATE THEM! I have a proposal inspired by international soccer that would fix the outlier-voter problem WITHOUT scrapping the current voting system. 🧵
Let me be clear... Death Valley is the best AWAY venue to play in.
Nothing will ever beat Commonwealth Stadium / Kroger Field, aka My Old Kentucky Home!!!

I can concur with real world experience. 2 reasons why my fav place to play:
Riding into DV on team bus. Looking out window, I see g-pa and g-son recognize it's UK, both flipping us the bird.😉
We warmed up by the students, knowing they would throw AA batteries at us. The BEST...
🚨SEC fanbase Toxicity Index Update 🚨
I went back and added more historical data to address small sample size (back 2021)
Analyzing profanity, insults, hostile language, and negativity across SEC team subreddits, LSU remains on top.
Below has each SEC team's toxicity score through 2026 season (as you can imagine, toxicity spikes during losses).

Kentucky's CFP resume is fantastic. Perhaps the best in college football? BY FAR??? That's what CBS Sports says, using inspiration from metric all UK fans can get behind: NCAA’s Wins Above Bubble (WAB) metric for basketball. Check it out!

The voter who had UK the worst for this week (Koki - #16) was second from last (68/70) when comparing his Top-25 selection vs the composite AP Poll results...
IOW, Koki's selections are nowhere near his peers.

The combination of excitement and determination in his celebration is lit. Will Stein and his staff are it... This team and staff are different. They just are... And it starts with the head man. Go Cats

Great shot by @JDrumUK. This was John Mateer's first INT at the end of the third quarter. This had to be an absolute shot put to get down the field.

4-0 when volleyball and football have the same opponent on back to back days. May need to take that into consideration when scheduling in the future.

Wait, I was wrong. With bama, its actually an 11-team SEC Circle of Chaos!
Since the SEC began in 1933, only 20 seasons have produced an 11-team circle.
And 2026 did it by Week 6, the earliest ever. Chaos!
Back in the day, warm-up for QBs & WRs for every practice & game was Pat-and-Go. You practiced good habits by catching a 15-yard pass on your OUTSIDE SHOULDER w/no defender. Talked about this last week with @vstyles17 & @AdotWhite on the Locker.
Had Warsh done that, IU wins...
