🇩🇪 BMW has slashed its 2026 profit forecast for the second time this year as it accelerates restructuring and job cuts. The German automaker now expects its core automotive profit margin to fall between minus 0.5% and 0.5%. BMW launched a program to eliminate 8,000 German jobs in July and plans further management cuts. Sales in China dropped 22% during the first nine months, while shares rose 2.3% despite the disappointing outlook.
