Introducing DeTribe: Instantly launch an on-chain community for any token.
Create a tribe, stake tokens, and build trust in your project. Cause everybody's tired of rugs. It's time someone built a platform for PPP.
🪂 Airdrops are coming! 🪂
DeTribe is kickstarting our platform and we wanna bring your token community on-chain. So to bootstrap, we're buying tokens from select communities for big airdrops!
Here's how it works:
✅ We buy your tokens
✅ We create a Tribe for your community
✅ Your holders join the Tribe
✅ They get FREE tokens
That's it. But we can't buy a bag of every token so DM us now to apply. First come, first served.
PS - cheers @ChatGPTapp, bangup job on the image lol
It's ridiculous that we're still being rugged by faceless devs. Blockchain was literally designed for trustless security.
Why are we settling for 'trusted' devs and CTOs when we can build systems that don't need trust?
DeTribe lets devs publicly lock tokens, proving skin in the game. No more empty promises—just code-enforced commitment. Time to put your tokens where your mouth is and start using blockchain the way it was built to be used.
if you're frustrated that news traders extracted liquidity from the ecosystem by launching $neiro then you should put your money where your mouth is
only buy coins from devs you trust
that may not be possible today but there is already a strong trend of CTOs being ran by the same people that are generally trusted
it may not be obvious yet but there is a HUGE UPSIDE for a doxxed dev that plays by a transparently laid-out set of rules
I would be on the lookout for this
You can unlock magic when individual holders are brought together on-chain. Power to the community. That’s the simple thesis of the DeTribe platform.
The biggest problem with DAOs right now: lack of participation.
Our take: It's not actually that people don't care. It's that there's WAY too much friction to vote.
How we're solving this: @telegram integration. Get notified about new proposals and submit votes directly from Telegram (using delegation).
What we're playing with: Gamified governance. Time and participation-weighted voting to start.
Let's make governance great again.
Compound Finance got DAO REKT because they just don't seem to care.
Here’s how absurd the process was:
An initial proposal to grant 92k $COMP was submitted without prior discussion. Thankfully, Compound's security advisor @LewellenMichael spotted it.
Despite glaring red flags, Michael's warnings only received 6 comments on the DAO forum. Notable few who cared: @MonetSupply and Wintermute.
Humpy (the proposer) acknowledged the criticism and canceled the first proposal.
Then, he submitted a second vote, attracting just 4 comments from @StableLab, Wintermute, @bryancolligan, and Michael.
Despite the lack of public concern, the second proposal thankfully FAILED.
But then it got wilder: the third proposal not only sailed through but saw Humpy increase the requested $COMP amount by a crazy 5.4x, jumping from 92k to 499k.
Only 57 addresses cast their votes for the goldCOMP proposal. Where was everyone else?
It seems nobody cares.
Barely ~20 addresses typically participate in DAO votes.
Proposal discussions in the forum attract minimal engagement.
For instance, a previously contentious plan to launch a USDT market on Compound III quietly passed in July.
Almost all proposals in Compound DAO originate from Gauntlet.
In practice, Gauntlet runs the DAO, and they get paid to do it.
Gauntlet's effectively running the DAO because they're getting paid.
And the rest? Silence. No pay, no interest.
Even the Compound team seems indifferent. @compoundfinance doesn't even tweet anymore.
This is alarming. If Humpy can pass this vote, what's stopping another vote from jeopardizing your lent assets next?
Just use @aave, @0xfluid or any other lending protocol with the community that cares.
Every $neiro cto should start a tribe on detribe.xyz. Biggest actual on-chain community with largest market cap by next week will be the winner and we’ll scoop up a bag to airdrop the tribe

Let’s list some of them. I’ll go first: @detribe_ is anew community-oriented protocol that allows anyone to instantly launch an on-chain community based on a token. We’ve got token locking for creators to prove commitment, airdrops, rewards and missions dropping next week (incentivized community actions). Gamified governance along with blinks and tg integration dropping soon.
Crypto is all about decentralization, but we understand when some things are centralized.
Wallets auto-blocking sites/programs is understandable, but sucks if you're trying to launch something.
So we were kinda pissed when we found out that our tribes program was auto-blocked in Phantom since it uses @blowfish for security. Especially when @blowfishxyz refused to unblock us until our platform was "in production." There's a good chicken/egg problem for ya. 🤬
So we reached out to Phantom directly and they insta-unblocked us with a less than 1 hour turnaround.
Long story short... @phantom still our favorite wallet. Thanks for being the goat of @solana wallets.
DeTribe is all about building on-chain communities around tokens. s/o to @Address_51 for being a hustler of the community and hookin us up with our new X banner.
This is what we’re solving for. Except with token communities instead of NFTs. When it comes to rallying a community, tokens allow for a lot more flexibility in terms of what you can do and different ways you can do it. It’s also a lot more aligned when the thing you’re getting airdropped is the thing that the community is built on. Measurability is a key component as Armani pointed out and that’s also a lot easier.
Airdrops are dead.
Airdrops to NFTs are even more dead. But the problem isn't that giving NFTs tokens is bad, it's that there's no accurate, sufficiently flexible way to measure what happens after you do that.
No smart company gives value for free. Executives, employees, teams--they all have KPIs, and you get rewarded as a function of those KPIs. Do more, get more. Do less get less. And it's not sustainable to think NFTs should be any different.
The magic of NFTs is that one can optimize KPIs much more effectively as part of a team than alone. If I want to farm a token project, I should be doing it with @MadLads, because I should expect my contribution to be more with the lads than alone. If I'm selling to crypto natives, I should be targeting not individuals but entire communities at once, leveraging the shared interests, common goals, and high signal trust stitching together people through NFT identifies all around the world--something that @KeystoneWallet recently executed on to perfection.
The challenge for businesses is ultimately to do the hard work of defining measurable KPIs for NFTs to optimize. The challenge for NFTs is to provide a sufficiently flexible framework that can be re-used by others to leverage what your community is uniquely good at. Solve that, and you can generate a lot more productive value for the space.
A thought.
If devs aren’t locking their tokens they’re not committed. There’s a very good reason why vesting schedules exist.
DeTribe is the easiest way for anybody to show commitment by locking their tokens.
NEW PUMP FUN RUG METHOD
There is a new "method" ruggers are using that flies under the radar of most peoples research process
Making this thread because I'm seeing these scammers take your $SOL over and over and over again.
There is a new "method" ruggers are using that flies under the radar of most peoples research process and so is very effective
Scammers are lifting 500-1000 SOL PER COIN
Everybody preaches "community is everything," but there's been a glaring lack of tools to actually bring these communities on-chain.
Till now. We're bridging the gap between off-chain hype and on-chain reality.
Get started by joining an existing tribe or instantly creating your own at detribe.xyz
Time to put your tokens where your mouth is.
