Jeebus, a knock at the door every 5 minutes, people dropping off presents, we're getting a courtesy bus to the brewery and they don't want me to have to carry the presents home, but the best present will hopefully be later today, when the SOLD sticker goes on the for sale sign.

What is it that the RBA knows that all other central banks don't when it comes to the current inflation problems? All other CBs are happy to hold or at least take baby steps given the growth inhibiting effect of oil prices. Yet the RBA, with rates already at a 15 yr high, seems hell bent on hiking further ICYMI
“To hike, or not to hike, that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?” William Shakespeare - Hamlet Virtually everyone, including the drover’s dog & Blind Freddie, expect the RBA to hike rates on 3 November. If the majority of the Board agrees with the whims & ramblings of the rafter of senior Bank officials in recent weeks, it’s shut the gate on the hike. Be that as it may, there are a growing number of concerns about this strategy & in the attached video, I outline a series of questions that the Board should have answer to as it contemplates its next policy step. youtube.com/watch?v=EqdeZlEZ…

Queensland Premier David Crisafulli's latest crime slogan legislation infers every person that breaches bail is put straight into prison for a mandatory time. The reality is it generates a new court case for police, the judiciary & prison workers. #qldpol abc.net.au/news/2026-10-30/q…

Another celebrity is facing allegations that he has done wrong being made public....I think I know who this is but obviously would not comment. He must not be allowed to emotionally blackmail a court though....saying that he would do himself harm if the allegations were made public is ridiculous...I suspect MANY people would feel stress, shame & yes quite possibly think of harming themselves BUT this cannot be permitted as an excuse otherwise EVERYBODY could claim the same ! dailymail.com/news/article-1…

It's not uncommon for people in mental health wards to never be diagnosed, but I will say, using mental health is a scape goat for being a c@#$.
Brendan Nugent was never formally diagnosed with a mental health condition during his time as an inpatient. Assessment now shows delusions of being persecuted & a state of psychosis. It's thought he most likely suffers from schizophrenia. #auspol abc.net.au/news/2026-10-29/a…

Thank fuck we live in Australia with a Labor government and MEDICARE! “My uncle spent 40 years as a high school teacher. Saved $250k in a modest nest egg. At 78, he developed dementia and needed memory care. The facility cost $8,500 a month. When his savings ran out after two and a half years, the social worker handed my cousin a stack of paperwork. She explained the rule: "Medicaid won't cover a single day until he has less than $2,000 in total liquid assets." He had to sell his car, cash out his remaining life insurance, and empty his checking account just to qualify for basic care. Forty years of discipline, erased down to two thousand dollars so he could die in a shared room. They don't let working class families leave a legacy. They make sure you die with zero before they hand you a safety net.” @jeremyct

Dear fellow Victorian's, please DO NOT VOTE for these nasty divisive pieces of work in the upcoming election. They haven't got half a brain or half a heart between them. They support the TERRORIST STATE OF ISRAEL over Australians and particularly over First Nations People.

Hey Jess Wilson, another candidates forum in Kew… Voters want to hear why you’ve backflipped on Treaty, climate, gas and coal. They want you to explain the $9 billion hole in your costings. Will you show up?

If Barack ran again for president in 2028, which he can't because of the Constitution and all, and Michelle wouldn't let him anyway, he'd be only 67 years old. A relative youngster compared to the last 3 presidents. But he'd win by a landslide.
Obama: "I am old enough to remember when a president wearing a tan suit was a major national controversy. They were very upset. And I know I looked good in that suit."
