A person getting a salary of Rs 12 lakhs pay no Tax. Another person who trade in Stock Market for living, pay 20% STCG Tax even if his income is less than 1 lakh. STCG or LTGC should kick in only beyond Rs 12 lakhs.

Broker A has it’s own system only exchanging data between PAN & the broker Same with Broker B. Broker A & Broker B don’t talk. This is causing problem not only here but also in terms of generating reports, taxes, p&l and other charges reports which causes trouble during ITR.

I accidentally submitted two applications for the Jio IPO using the same PAN. One application is through Groww and another through Kotak Mahindra Bank. Both are under the HNI category. Both applications were successfully submitted! Now I discover that duplicate applications under the same PAN can lead to both being rejected. Interesting that neither platform stopped the second application. Why isn’t this checked before accepting the application
