I like how she lives in a completely different world absolutely detached from reality. Pretty sure she thinks highly of herself, too
📡 Our new cooperation on satellite connectivity takes off today. With immediate results. North Greenland will see massive improvements in internet access in the coming days. And by October, remote communities in East Greenland will also have better, faster internet!

The EU just killed DIY PCB design With the new tax on imports (3€ per import of each category) I now would have to pay 3€ for every PCB component that I have to solder at home I can't buy PCB components in Germany because THEY ARE NOT EVEN MANUFACTURED HERE ANYWHERE ITS JUST CHINA AND AMERICA So instead of 20 bucks for one prototype PCB with 20 different components It's now 80€ Fuck you @vonderleyen

Of course the ones that volunteer for the EU survey are the retarded ones
Children are asking for a safer online world. We asked Europeans aged 12–17 for their views on apps, websites, games & social media: 🚸80% support rules for loot boxes 🚸78% support age limits 🚸48% want controls on features like infinite scroll link.europa.eu/CGDqYJ
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The survey was a voluntary online consultation with 4,786 self-selected respondents, not representative of all EU children aged 12-17, with 38% from Germany and 33% from Romania. eu-for-children.europa.eu/digital-fairne… eu-for-children.europa.eu/system/files/2…

Every one of those morons responsible needs to be publicly caned
Yes, you read that correctly: the majority present voted _against_ chat control. But due to the absurdly undemocratic, illegal, procedure they're using, it comes into law anyway after being rejected multiple times before in previous votes. Insane.

Why is the official account of the EU Parliament defending Chat Control if the majority of Members of the European Parliament have voted against it? At least respect the majority.
The fight against child sexual abuse continues. But not at the expense of privacy. Parliament backs reinstating temporary child safety rules, while protecting encrypted messages. EU governments decide next. This bridges the gap until permanent laws are finalised.

The measure more commonly known as "chat control", from a technical standpoint, aims to mass surveil European citizens. More info: fightchatcontrol.eu

Democracy is when most people vote NO so you conclude YES
Democracy is how we live our lives in Europe. Cherish it. Shape it. Protect it. ℹ️Read more: link.europa.eu/RmRmfc

In a true democracy, the majority rules and makes the rules. Although 314 politicians voted to scrap Chat Control, while 276 voted to keep it, the vote required 360 MEPs to reject the Council of the European Union's position. theregister.com/security/2026/…

90% of online child sexual abuse was found because platforms detected it. Now, they no longer can. 🚨 Since 3 April, there has been a major legal gap in protecting children from online sexual abuse. ‼️ We cannot accept this legal vacuum. ‼️ We cannot let child abuse material go unnoticed and unreported, day after day. ‼️ Closing the legal gap is urgent! ⁉️ DO YOU SUPPORT THIS URGENCY TO PROTECT CHILDREN? ‼️ Protect children, not predators.

The EU Parliament has voted on Chat Control three times. Vote 1: restrict it. Vote 2: reject it. 311 to 228. Vote 3: Tuesday. Same question. Before summer recess. Democracy is when you keep voting until the answer changes.

Thieves, go fuck yourself
Ultra-cheap imports from outside the EU meant no safety checks, no customs. To help end this, as of today, the 🇪🇺 Commission will apply a €3 customs duty, paid by the platforms, to items in small packages worth €1 50 or less, imported by online platforms from outside the EU!

The Turboretards over in the EU Commission are once again having the big old think of "surely if we make something more expensive for the companies, they will not raise their prices" Honestly just dissolve
