I'd argue that Mark Davis is one of the most exciting wrestlers to watch this year. He has a way of being imaginative with his violence not to force memorable, gif-able spots that pop people, but to create the effect of leaning into his strength to opportunistically cause harm.

The start of Stan Hansen vs Giant Baba from 84. Hansen creates chaos. Baba refuses to yield. Listen to the crowd hang on every shot. Nothing feels quite like this. There's force and reaction to all of it but it's so stylized and unique. Singular, special.

Abe confessed that it was a true love experienced only once in life. She severed his genitals, inscribing “Sada and Kichi Ishida, just the two of us” on his thigh.
