QuestCameraKit just crossed 400 stars 🌟 on GitHub 🐙 with almost 100 forks🍴
This is more than any Oculus or Meta Quest GitHub sample🤯 Devs are clearly interested in camera access and the new use cases that come with it, and we are continuing to make it more easy to build with it!

👋🏼 I'm working on a VR party where friends can join on their mobile phones on the web!

It's #PitchYaGame time! 🎉
Party Crashers is an asymmetric VR party game that's all about bringing everyone into the fun
📱Friends can join from any web connected device
🥽One headset, endless multiplayer fun
🪩 Think Mario Party or Jackbox games... but in VR!

Ah for camera access that was released a couple months ago with other samples:

The reflections/lighting aspect of the video is just something I had made with it. I'm hoping it gets added as an official feature at some point

Not publicly. This is just a test I made using Unity
Some more camera based reflection and lighting testing. You can see my desk and monitors being reflected in the helmet, definitely adds another layer of realism

One feature I'd love to see with the new camera access is dynamic reflection data generation
Here's a rough attempt... now to figure out how to smooth those seams

Sneak peek at our latest experiment: exploring the fusion of Meta’s Environment Depth API with the Passthrough camera feed, aligned and processed in real-time using a custom compute shader pipeline.
