Loving the thought of bemused tourists walking through central Dublin on a weekend visit and seeing U2 playing live from the balcony of a café and thinking that this is the way things must roll in Ireland. U2 performing here every Friday evening like a resident house band

Waiting at the gates of the school in Dublin now to collect my son and listening to With Or Without You being played live whilst my son is inside watching U2 perform on stage. They formed at his school 50 years ago this very day. Playing the same stage as below

Went to buy this on my lunch break on the day of release but walked back disappointed as they had sold out of the few copies they had so went back the next day and bought it on CD. One of those albums that I wish I could bottle the feeling of that very first listen 35 years ago

After 75 years of waiting, County Mayo finally won the All-Ireland final today. Sadly my dear dad who has been waiting for this moment since he was 9 years old is currently in hospital. I am heading there now to tell him that FINALLY they did it dad 💚❤️🥹
