10 December 1942 | A transport of 927 Jews arrived at #Auschwitz from the German-occupied Netherlands. 898 of them were murdered in gas chamber immediately after the selection.
One of them was Betje van Delft. She was 10 months old.

I have written an article for @thetimes in response to the new draft menopause guidelines from NICE. They are a step backwards for women.
CBT may have a place when taking a holistic approach to managing the perimenopause, but it won’t improve every menopause symptom and won’t treat the underlying hormone deficiency.
Women deserve to have a choice and if they want to take HRT they should be allowed to. It is about time women are heard and their symptoms and future health is taken seriously.

It’s been a long journey.
But yesterday it all came together.
My dad’s been in kidney failure, and I was in a position to be able to donate one of mine.
The recovery takes a few weeks for me, longer for him, but we’re both doing well.
