We wouldn’t be where we are today, the blue tsunami last night, without his hard work, persistence and support. @BernieSanders @SenSanders

🇺🇸 Congratulations to Deb Haaland!
I want to congratulate Deb Haaland, a member of the Laguna Pueblo tribe, on her historic election as Governor of New Mexico.
Haaland has already made American history more than once. In 2018, she became one of the first two Native American women elected to the U.S. Congress.
She later became the first Native American to serve as a U.S. Cabinet secretary, leading the Department of the Interior under President Joe Biden.
Now she has reached another historic milestone: becoming the first Native American woman elected governor of a U.S. state.
Congratulations, Deb Haaland! A remarkable achievement and a historic moment for Native American representation in American politics.

And this, on repeat.
.@JamesTalarico: There is something broken in America.
Our economic system is broken. Our political system is broken. Even our relationships with each other feel broken.
That’s because the most powerful people in the world want it that way.
They want us looking left and right at each other instead of looking up at them. The real fight in this country is not left vs right, it’s top vs bottom.
Tonight we sent a crystal clear message to the people at the top: We will not be conquered.

Repost this everywhere. Take the narrative back.

Michael Carter II plays safety for the Philadelphia Eagles, and two weeks ago he threw a baby shower for 40 mothers in Philly who are on Medicaid, which is not a sentence anybody expects to write about a fifth round defensive back in the middle of a season.
It was not a check written to somebody else's charity either. It was his own event, run by his own foundation, in his own city, and more than 100 people came through the door.
They gave out car seats and portable cribs and diapers, and then they sat the families down with health education plans meant to connect them to care that keeps going long after everybody has gone home, which is the part that gets skipped when people read about something like this. A car seat is a car seat and anybody can buy one. A plan that still has a mother seeing a doctor six months from now is harder to hand out and worth considerably more.
He also sat on a panel about fatherhood, which is not how most defensive backs spend an off day.
Carter came out of Duke in the fifth round of the 2021 draft, and fifth round defensive backs generally spend their careers trying to stay on a roster rather than building anything, and he has spent part of his putting his name on something that has nothing to do with football.
The reason for all of it is one person.
His wife Alli is a labor and delivery nurse.
She spends her working life inside the room where all of it happens, with women who are hours away from becoming mothers, and she watches some of them arrive with everything ready and some of them arrive with nothing at all, which means he married somebody who sees that gap up close on every shift she works.
So he went and built something around it. The Michael Carter II Foundation started in November of 2025, he started it with his parents Donna and Michael Carter Sr., and the way the foundation itself describes the goal is that no mother should enter motherhood feeling unprepared or invisible.
That event in Philly was the third one this year, and across the three of them they have handed out more than 15,000 supplies to families who needed them, and back in July he and Alli ran one in Georgia, where he is from, and gave away 3,000 diapers. The same foundation has put 5,000 dollars into his old school's basketball program and helped assemble 600 trauma kits for first responders.
This week the NFL Players Association made him their Community MVP for Week 8 and put 10,000 dollars into the foundation, which also makes him eligible for their biggest community award and another 100,000 on top of it.
Be straight about the size of it, because forty mothers is forty mothers, and it does not fix maternal health care in this country, and nobody involved has claimed otherwise.
But forty families in Philadelphia went home with a car seat they did not have that morning, and the man who paid for it married the nurse who has spent years watching them arrive without one.

If you watch only one clip from the Philadelphia City Council hearing about the closure of the Academy of Natural Sciences, let it be this one. It — and I don't say this lightly — must be seen to be believed. #SaveTheAcademy

🔥🔥🔥HOLY HELL: Whatever you do, do not repost this as Donald Trump will lose his shit if he hears this insane applause Ohio gave Obama today!
The objectives are simple. Give today's live event leaders a repeatable framework grounded in a globally recognized foundation for the work they already do. Give the next generation a clear path to learn it. @PMInstitute

Hawaii just became the first State in the Nation to end Citizens United. This will end up putting our elections back into the regular voters hands instead of Billionaires. Who thinks this needs to be done in every State now?
1. Yes
2. No
3. Don’t care

The band in their most honest and raw state.
I think the film exposes what I've come to know throughout my journey with them; they are sincere humans who genuinely care about their art, their audience, and the people who journey alongside them.
See this film!
