Good morning 🌞 Primavera Digitale on my mind⚜️

GM ⚜️ My love letter to Florence and Primavera Digitale: Dear fellow adventurer, 9 years ago, destiny brought me to this magnificent city full of mystery and history… And now it has brought you here too. Whether marveling at Brunelleschi’s genius ability to complete the Duomo, the fascinating colors dancing in Botticelli’s paintings, or even the majestic statues and buildings that frame its skyline, there is an energy in this city that - if you observe closely - is uncontrollably contagious. This is a city of dreamers who challenged the idea of what was impossible in their respective times - like David conquering Goliath, a goldsmith building an incompletable dome, or the idea of a Renaissance… As I explored these streets, which were walked by some of history’s greatest thinkers centuries ago, I dreamt of the return of a golden age in which artists, philosophers and ambitious minds inspire the world to imagine and build a better future together. The invention of revolutionary technologies like the internet, artificial intelligence, and the blockchain have allowed us to freely create, share and consume information. As a result, humans are the most empowered we have ever been - but we know these technologies can and have been misused. Emerging technologies will cause the next Renaissance… But only with the help of thinkers like you and me who will guide the dialogue of how these technologies can be used for progress and the common good. Now it’s my turn to give something back to this magical city and to you, fellow traveler. When my adventure started, the city gave me a gift I’ve carried with me for almost a decade. Now, I hope this gift will help spark that curiosity that has taken me on many adventures and led me to meet fascinating people who returned my hope in humanity. We’re coming back to Florence to pay homage to the Renaissance and the great people who made it a reality, but also, to make a statement to the world: That we dream of a digital spring, that will start in Florence and that will spread through the rest of the world with the help of technology, a spring that will help us build a movement where individuals are inspired to pursue their dreams independently of their socioeconomic statuses or their religious or ethnic backgrounds, a movement that believes in the power of humans to achieve the impossible through their hard work and collaboration, a movement that upholds the universal values and virtues that represent our human dignity… I hope this city will be an inspiration to you of what is possible when we collectively embrace progress through critical thinking, beauty, inspiration, and the pursuit of impossible dreams. And more than anything, I hope you enjoy the arrival of the first digital spring. Enjoy Primavera Digitale.
