RIP David Lynch.    radicalized American film with with a dark, surrealistic artistic vision. visionary artists are often seen as hard, reclusive, or outright assholes, but David Lynch proved you could work at the highest level, have a ‘who gives a fuck’ attitude, and still lead with heart and humility. no one has ever understood the world like Lynch did. we’re lucky that he showed us what he saw. one of the truly great artists in the history of cinema. unapologetically Philly. he was 78.
