this is such a labour party internal election coded video
I am standing to be Secretary-General because I believe this is a moment to act with greater urgency: to act earlier, bring people together across difference, and drive the work forward until it produces concrete results. That is how we rebuild trust in the United Nations and ensure it delivers meaningful change for the people it exists to serve.

Will never stop being a hater. Why should people who get up at 6am benefit from daylight, I’d rather it not be dark at 4pm

Here’s what actually happened with the new Goldsmiths campus:
- Labour negotiates a deal with a university they know is on the brink of bankruptcy.
- They announce this as a done deal BEFORE getting Goldsmiths to sign a lease - giving up the Council’s negotiating leverage to score political points a few months ahead of the local elections.
- The new Green administration then has to work to deliver this new campus, in a much weaker position than we would be had Labour not jumped the gun on the announcement.
- Predictably, Goldsmiths cancels their expansion plans because they can’t pay for them.
- Labour then try to suggest, with zero evidence, that the Green Party are to blame for the deal collapsing. When, in reality, it was their mismanagement that has led to a huge amount of wasted time, money, and effort.
We had no intention of politicising this hugely disappointing news for the borough. But if Labour councillors are going to spread this kind of misinformation I feel it’s important for someone to correct the record here.

First Lewisham Shopping Centre, now the Goldsmiths Catford Campus.
How much more investment in Lewisham is Mayor Liam Shrivastra going to cost the borough?

They tell you they support a two-state solution then they ban you showing support for one of the states

“1. Recognise antisemitism as a distinct form of hatred, not just general racism”
Diane asserting that anti-Blackness is a distinct form of hatred as it is skin colour based was considered way beyond the pale. Pun intended. Be silly in someone else’s mentions.

So Diane Abbott was right all along

This makes sense when you realize that Acton's estranged mother represents a major demographic cohort -- parents who covered up horrific family secrets and are puzzled why their kids don't talk to them. This cohort is becoming politically organized.

I wish we were allowed to enjoy more than 1 movie
I remember saying this, and Film Twitter burst a blood vessel arguing against it. 🤣 Meanwhile, Sinners is still relevant.
