Something that has been made clear:
We need to stop saying “This is not who we are” in “America.”
Indeed, this is not who and what the United States should be, but denial won’t make the injustices and inhumane ideologies less so.
We can’t change without truth.

I just found out that if you text ‘HOME’ to 741741 when you are feeling depressed or suicidal, a crisis counselor will text you. This is super important for people who don’t like talking on the phone. AND, it’s free. Pls RT to help someone, you never know who needs it. ❤️

@malika_andrews Here's the point that's missed. Wealth NEVER excuses the responsibility 2 help those who aren't. It actually means you have MORE 2 give/share/do. If the poor can & do serve others, it's EVERYONE'S responsibility. Greed & fear r the causes of hoarding wealth.
Ex. Working poor r expected 2 pay bills, buy food, health care, etc & save w low wages. While owners r given tax breaks, keep wages low, etc RAISE prices 2 make huge profit. Their donations help fund gov policies that continues the daily struggles of working poor. Greed & fear.
COVID didn't expose ANY of this! Working poor knew this because it's their daily life;struggling. Those who didn't r oblivious 2 anyone around them-Greed. Those who know & do nothing to help-fear. IT REALLY IS ENOUGH HERE 4 EVERYONE periodt
