my unsolicited take on this is that this phenomenon is mostly downstream of the fact that most men today are soft/pudgy/unattractive and if you were vigorous + vital + energetic then women would actively be pursuing friends to lovers scenarios with you

For anybody curious: Blood banks *really* don't want to accidentally give somebody HIV. It is not immediately detectable in blood, PrEP is not 100% effective, and anal sex is like 10x better than coitus for spreading HIV (not even including selection effects on those who do it).

i tried to donate blood today, i had an appointment, and they turned me away. apparently you still can’t donate blood if you’re on PrEP or had anal sex within 3 months? (both disqualified me) i thought they unbanned gays from donating? how is this not de facto discrimination?

My hunger signals are honestly pretty weak and I mostly gauge if I should eat on whether or not I feel low on energy. If I ate only when I was hungry, I would probably lose like 10 lbs but also spend a ton more time sleeping/lazing about.
