It's less "vibecoding" and more "scaldcoding". Mostly all in doing is telling the AI when it's doing something stupid. The trick is knowing enough to know when it's doing something stupid.

How silly is it that in google shutting down it's podcast app they don't let you export your progress on subscriptions to yt music? Why even offer a replacement if it has no advantage?

How many years before the web is so full of generative AI content that it's a significant proportion of generative AI's input to cause a problem? "Mad AI Disease" if you will. (for those too young to get the reference - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United…)

We are moving our pretagov.com dev process from Zenhub to Github Projects. Since I found no tool to automate that migration I created one: pypi.org/project/projectsmig…. BTW. I think one lesson I take away from Zenhub - build Products not Features of others products.

I'm surprised by so much commentary saying the apple vision pro is a solution without a problem. I think all VR is about solving the expenses of space and distance. Particularly trust at a distance. One thing the pandemic taught us is zoom meetings aren't much better than phone.

Wow stumbled across this today! Very useful if you want to quickly gather data on how other design systems document a certain component. component.gallery/components… Thank you @iainmbean!!!

I know y'all really want to work with us but we only hire the best communicators. e.g. those with the ability to understand what part of a template ripped from the web you are supposed to replace 😆😆

Yes, we know #pyconapac2022 haven't started yet, but you know, we're asking around if any community in the Asia-Pacific region wants to host #pyconapac2023 ? Never to early to ask around, you know? 😺

After many happy years I can no longer recommend @oneplus phones. One hardware failure and you realise their support isn't there. Can't even pay them to fix my phone or even recommend 3rd party to fix it. No 3rd party seems to have a 7 pro mainboard.

might be wrong but omicron wave is just starting in bangkok and "flat" cases were caused by peaks and test capacity issues in NE and pattaya where it started. See if bkk keeps rising. Could be relaxing restrictions in bkk is premature.

I think the reason Thailands cases seemed to have falsely peaked at 9k/d is we reached PCR capacity. But with so many doing ATK first, why are 85% of PCR negative? tourists would be 15k tests max. ATK registrations might not be rising past 2k/d due to doctor shortage?

meanwhile IHME forecasts thailand will peak in a week at 1.4M infections per day with 60k/d reported (peaking a week later... why?). but they do now think it will hit the previous peak hostitalisation but that seems impossible with PCR test problems. Let's hope deaths are low.

Thai case numbers flat this week?? PCR test system at capacity already? I thought it would at least get to 15k. Is paid tourist tests reducing free capacity that much? but why isn't ATK numbers going up? or is it just that Omicron hasn't really hit dense population yet?

PCR testing is almost half what it was at delta peak so maybe 9-10k per day is the current limit? At least until more filtering goes on so only certain cases get PCR tested. At 32k tests Thailand would have to have a ~60% positive rate to reach the aug delta case peak of 20k
