The members of our motley @GreatWarGroup crew who were there till the end in Brighton with Mayor O’Quinn and Davinder Dhillon OBE, Chairman of the Chattri Memorial.

Please RT! We’re really proud to be tackling a new project @GreatWarGroup talking to people about Lions & Donkeys, putting this outdated appreciation into a modern context using studies of Douglas Haig, Britain’s Commander in Chief in #WW1 There will be talks, on & offline, a battlefield command tour at the end of 2025 & a new volume of research on Britain’s chief. We have nine excellent contributors/topics already but there is room for a handful more. Some unfinished areas at the moment are 1916, the opening of the spring offensives, personal aspects, Haig’s experiences of war prior to 1914 and post war/remembrance and legacy. Am immense (exhausting) weekend at #WHWFest for my first ever #WW2 live gig. Thanks @James1940 & @almurray for having me, loved schooling victims for @GreatWarGroup in how you wouldn’t have a sequel if not for #WW1 & our night out with Dr Who. Think threatening to cock punch 400 people at once is a record for me, my one regret, after 20 years I STILL haven’t fulfilled my teenage dream of meeting @tinker_t 😂 @WW2TV @WW2girl1944 @kejamieson_ @hoyer_kat @FXMC1957 @s_jolley @moodyoe @likesmokenoakum @1418filmandy @louise_provan @SpitfireFilly @djdapperdan @annetysonbrown @Carolin22478581 @almurray @MatMcLachlan @DrHelenFry @historical_kate
