Hamas attacked on Oct 7. You danced in the streets. You threw candy. You kissed the ground. You thanked your God. You celebrated. You rejoiced. You spat on the bodies of the victims. You ridiculed and humiliated the hostages as they were brought into Gaza. You celebrated a massacre. You celebrated the deaths of over 1200 human beings. You celebrated the vicious sexual violence against men and women. You celebrated the kidnapping of babies, children, women, men and elderly. You celebrated as rockets continued to be shot into Israel. You celebrated deaths of IDF soldiers as they defended their country and attempted to rescue the hostages. You celebrated the deaths of children in a soccer field – until you learned they weren’t Jewish. You celebrated death and violence against Israelis. Against Jews. And then. Israel responds. You claim you’re innocent – yet you celebrated what Hamas did – you blame Israel. Israel warns you to evacuate – Hamas makes you stay – you blame Israel. Israel delivers aid – Hamas steals it and sells it at exorbitant prices – you blame Israel Hamas rockets misfire, killing Gazans – you blame Israel. Hamas uses schools and hospitals to launch its attacks from – Israel disables those capabilities – you blame Israel. You don’t like the results of the war that Hamas started, and that you celebrated – you blame Israel. Hamas refuses to negotiate, refuses to demilitarize, so the war continues – you blame Israel. No matter what Israel does – you blame Israel. No matter what Hamas does – you blame Israel. If Israel ever were to be gone (which it won’t be), and you wake up and realize you still have all of your same problems, who will you blame?

I’ve seen a lot of abhorrent things on this app, but the immediate dismissal and ridicule by the British Left of a forthcoming government report on antisemitism towards Jewish children is just appalling. I naïvely thought that, when it came to children specifically, the usual suspects would be more empathetic (or at least more cautious), but alas. The abject cruelty is profoundly disturbing. Ironically, of course, they make the case for Zionism better than any Zionist ever could. Herzl is vindicated time and time and time again.

Palestinian history is a lot like Trumps personal history, made up bullshit and stolen credit birthed from the work of others.
According to the Palestinian Authority's official school textbooks for grades 6 through 9: • The Canaanites were Arabs • Palestine grew tomatoes and potatoes in the 600s • Muslims invented zero and reached America in the 800s • The Third Crusade was in 1291, sent by "Britain" • George Washington declared independence at the "Third Philadelphia Congress" • World War I was fought by the Axis • Israel burned al-Aqsa • A terrorist who killed 13 children on a bus killed "soldiers" • Ancient Israel did not exist This is what UNRWA and PA schools are teaching to children. Let's take a journey through the Palestinian Authority's fantasy world. 🧵

His mother was born in the land of Israel. Ashkenazi DNA is 60% Levantine (meaning from the land of Israel). We were conquered by the Romans colonisers who drove us out of our land, and renamed it from Judea to Palestine. The most common last name in the Palestinian authority is Al Masri - which mean Egyptian. Also common last names there - halabi - from Aleppo Syria , Hijazi (area in Saudi Arabia ) and so on. Mark Twain visited the holy land in the middle of the 19 century and described a completely empty land. Most of the “Palestinians” came as labour immigrants from the neighbouring lands during the late ottoman time and British Mandate. Palestinians can’t event pronounce “Palestine” because there’s no P in Arabic. The only people who called themselves “Palestinian” before 1948 were Jews - “Palestine post” and “Palestine airways” were Jewish Zionist owned during the British mandate . The Arabs of the land simply called themselves Arabs , and referred to that region as southern Syria. The British named that land Palestine after they took it from the ottomans , because that was the roman colonial name of the land. Before the PLO was invented by the Soviets in 1964 (when Gaza and Judea & Samaria were in Arab hands ) there was no Arab / Islamic association to that name. We are called Jews because we are from Judea , and Arabs are allied that way because they are from Arabia.

The 737 MAX 8 in particular has a bad rap but what happened to FlyDubai 1073 should give every traveler confidence in these planes. The Wall Street Journal reports the jet reached about Mach 0.96 in the dive, well past its maximum operating speed of Mach 0.82, then was hauled out at roughly 3g and still landed with a chunk of its rudder gone. The thing people need to keep in mind is that while Boeing's engineers know the certified envelope and the safety margins, what they don't have is a full-scale flight test of a complete 737 Max flown until it breaks apart. So the exact speed and duration at which this airplane would have become unrecoverable was always modeled and estimated, and no one really knows at what points the airframe just disintegrates. Boeing is not going to destroy a complete plane and sacrifice a test pilot in flight just to measure a number no airline will ever need. All this to say that this is the safety factor doing its job. @Boeing can take a bow.

So people keep going back to “Israel invaded the land” and “Israel stole the land” and “Nakba-this” and “Nakba-that” and all sorts of other stories about why they justify Oct 7 and why Israel is in the wrong. Let’s clear a few things up. The land that is now Israel was lived in by both Muslims and Jews for a long time. If you want to get technical about who was there first, it was the Jews. How do we know this for a fact? Well, first of all, Jews have been around for about 2000 years longer than Muslims. Not enough for you? OK. How about the fact that the word “Israel” is mentioned in the Quran about 43 times. Palestine? Never once. Jewish people have been around longer than Muslim people have – fact. Jewish people were living in the place where Israel is much longer than Arabs have – also fact. In about 1250 BCE, the Jewish people went to what was then called Canaan – where Israel sits today. This is when they escaped slavery in Egypt, and wandered the dessert for 40 years. 1250BCE. About 1860 years before the founding of Islam. Fast forward to modern times. 1940s. Yes, there were both Arab-Muslims and Jews living on the land that is now called Israel. And yeah, there was fighting. On both sides. After the Holocaust, the push for the Jewish people to have their own country intensified. During WWII, too many countries turned their backs on Jews. A Jewish homeland would ensure that Jews always had somewhere to go. There could never be another Holocaust, another ethnic cleansing of Jews. Additionally, the UK was tired of dealing with all the fighting in the British Mandate of Palestine (what Israel was called before it was Israel), and wanted to wash their hands of it. So what did they do? They offered to split the land amongst the two groups living there. The Arab-Muslims and the Jews. Sounds fair, right? Each could have their own State, completely autonomous. Pretty good deal, wouldn’t you think? I think it was a good deal. The Jews thought it was a good deal. Do you know who didn’t think it was a good deal? The Arab-Muslims. Do you know why? Because they didn’t want the Jews to have anything. So the day after Israel became a nation, the Arabs attacked. 5 Arab nations attacked, in what would be known as the Arab-Israeli war. Do you know what else it became known as? The Nakba. Nakba for catastrophe. Because they lost. The Arab world says it’s because Arabs were displaced. But they chose to be displaced. Because they chose not to accept their own nation. They left. They ran away. Because they thought the Jews would lose and they'd be able to go back. The Arabs have been fighting ever since. At some point in time in the 1960s, the Arab-Muslims who were trying to claim Israel as theirs, started to refer to themselves as Palestinians. Land has been offered. A Palestinian state has been offered. All that the Palestinians had to do, was accept Israel’s right to exist. To stop attacking and trying to destroy them. Why don’t the Palestinians have their own State? Because they refuse to. They refuse to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. Muslim nations in this world, take up 29.13 million square km. Israel is 21,671 square km. Jews have 0.1% of the land that Muslims have. And according to the Radicalized Muslims, that’s too much. This isn’t about the land. This is about Radicalized Muslims not wanting Jews to exist.

Been crunching numbers for 2028. To win, Dems need to run a candidate that activates voters in counties with <690pp/sq.mi. Harris hit about 767. Or a candidate can increase D turnout. What won't work is relying on cities to overpower suburbs, making a very rough path for urban progressive/DSA types. More soon.

I told you a year ago. A year ago the analysis was not complicated. The Gulf states issued statements demanding Israel accept Western recognition of a Palestinian state or face isolation. The United Kingdom under Keir Starmer treated that demand as moral high ground. Both sides acted as if words and votes at the United Nations could rearrange power. They could not. Israel had spent two years destroying Hamas battalions, degrading Hezbollah, and striking Iranian assets. The Abraham Accords already existed because Gulf rulers understood the Iranian threat better than their public rhetoric admitted. Their economies run on oil that must leave the Gulf. Their cities sit within range of missiles and drones. Their intelligence services are not in the same league as Israel’s. Those are facts, not slogans. Anyone willing to look at capabilities instead of communiqués could see the direction of travel. The United Kingdom chose the opposite path. Starmer’s government recognized Palestine, then piled on sanctions against settlement goods and used language about ethnic cleansing. British officials appeared to believe this would increase London’s standing. It did the reverse. The new UK Government made it even worse, Intelligence sharing with Israel cooled. The intimacy that once existed thinned. MI6 warned that Gulf partners relied on the British channel precisely because it delivered Israeli product they could not obtain as easily on their own. The warning was ignored. Gulf capitals noticed. They do not fund British irrelevance. The Gulf states themselves spent a year talking tough. They commended every new recognition of Palestine. They spoke of red lines and alienation. Then the Houthis seized more coastline, threatened the Bab al-Mandeb, and hit Saudi infrastructure. Iran’s proxies made the cost of posturing concrete. Within days Riyadh was asking for Israeli intelligence through CENTCOM. Kuwait, long among the most hostile on paper, opened quiet contacts after Iranian strikes reached its territory. Military chiefs from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE and others sat in a room in Germany with Israel’s chief of staff. That is not a peace process. That is reality collecting its debt. Human beings change their slogans constantly. The underlying machine does not. Leaders perform for their streets until the threat becomes immediate. Then they seek the actor who can actually see the launch, intercept the drone, or map the command network. Israel is that actor. The Gulf states spent years enjoying the security dividend of Israeli technology, cyber tools, and the Accords while still issuing ultimatums. The United Kingdom spent years lecturing while depending on the same intelligence it later treated as disposable. Both behaved as if leverage flowed from statements rather than from who can keep the oil moving and the missiles down. We will probably help them anyway. They do not deserve it on the record of the last years. They issued demands, celebrated recognitions, and treated Israeli security concerns as optional. Yet Jews remember what it feels like to be the weak party that others abandon when convenient. That memory is not abstract. It is why the reflex remains to share warning data even with people who spent the previous decade trying to isolate us. It is not gratitude they have earned. It is the refusal to become the thing that was done to us. But we should be demanding KSA annexing Qatar as the price tag for keeping their thrones. The same psychology, the same incentive structure, the same flaws will produce the same pattern again. States talk about justice until the rockets fly. Then they look for the people who can stop the rockets. A year ago that was already obvious to anyone who preferred facts to applause. It is obvious now. Am Israel Chai Shabbat Shalom and Gmar Hatima Tova. 🇮🇱
The GCC’s reported ultimatum to Israel: "accept Western recognition of Palestine or face alienation", ignores the realities of the past two years. Israel’s strategic dominance in the Middle East, bolstered by military successes and the Abraham Accords, makes us the region’s unrivaled powerhouse. Gulf and Arab states lack the leverage they assume; their economies and security increasingly align with Israel’s interests, not against them. We made all of yours states more secure than you ever did now you turn ungrateful and play tough? Dudes historically, pragmatic submission to strength has shaped YOUR regional dynamics NOT OURS, Israel never submitted! Our unmatched power technological, military, and diplomatic positions Israel to reject your BS demands without fear of consequence you don't get it yet but you will. The GCC’s bluff won’t sway us; it only risks their own irrelevance. Do not start a war you can't win, there will be peace on our terms, and you will submit to them. Two states solution died on October 7th, Fuck Palestine! 🇮🇱

FACTS Overnight update Iran - Israel/USA IRGC suffer catastrophic losses in armed clashes in Zahedan , in the South East . Iran deploying troops to the area as at the time of writing. Balochis inflicted casualties on IRGC in Sistan and Baluchistan provinces . Baluchis warning civilians to move away from IRGC and Basij checkpoints Kurds in West also creating havoc damaging infrastructure and attacking police posts Immortal Guards now concentrating their disruptions in the North Call by Iranian government for people’s army has dramatically failed to attract the mobs hoped for . A gathering of less than 5000 paraded turnout in Tehran . Iranian media reporting 300,000 turnout Western media reporting Iranian State media output - really !!! Also parade inflated in numbers by non Iranians including Afghans and Houthis In Esfahan indoctrination of schoolchildren to be IRGC supporters - this education policy will be rolled out nationwide Inflation on necessary consumer goods at 300% annualised . Medicines and pharmaceutical products now at desperately low stock levels Propaganda photo doing the rounds supposedly of ‘ Supreme Leader ‘ visiting a hospital - the photo was of Hezbollah operatives in a Lebanese hospital taken two years ago . The ‘ Supreme Leader ‘ is a lookalike or superimposed Reports of two vessels struck in the Straits of Hormuz in the last 24 hours . No details, I repeat no confirmation of responsibility or damage inflicted Israel still operating in South Lebanon - bombing Hezbollah legacy positions and providing protection to Druze and Christians Some unpalatable truths for Jew haters , pro Palestinians , antisemites , anti - Zionists etc FACT The Jewish people are to Israel what the Aborigines are to Australia , what the Māoris are to New Zealand what the Native Indians are to North America and what the San are to South Africa However the Palestinians are to Israel what the Chinese are to Tibet - colonisers FACT Isn’t it amazing that Israel is the only country in the whole world that bears the same name, speaks the same language, upholds the same faith, and inhabits the same land as it has for 3,000 years and yet is the one most accused of ‘settler-colonialism’ and told it should not exist 🤷‍♂️ FACT If Israelis , Jews or Zionists were truly colonisers then Hebrew would be the spoken language, Judaism the main religion and Zionism the main political ideology in numerous countries other than confined to the tiny and only Jewish state of Israel. However , Arabic is the main language and Sunni or Shia Islam the main religion and ideology of numerous countries because of Islamic colonialism . English as the main language and Christianity as the main religion is not confined to England but to numerous other countries through British colonialism. Similarly French , Spanish and the Portuguese language and Catholicism as the main religion are common in Africa , the Caribbean and South America because of European colonialism. So tell me who are the true colonisers ?

I worked on this for YEARS and am finally able to share it: One of the biggest obstacles for Jewish people fighting antisemitism has been a problem recognized by countless scholars over many years: Jews are notoriously difficult to categorize into a single group or even 2 or 3 clearly identified protected classes under the law. Worse still, many Jews themselves don’t know how exactly how to describe their Jewishness or how they fit in. This has presented a serious and frustrating problem both in every day life (often causing internal strife between Jewish groups themselves), and in courtrooms across the country where dismissal of antisemitism-based cases have too often hinged on courts misunderstanding who we are as a people. We know that Jews are not a monolith. But what are we? Who are we? In my piece just published in @Commentary Magazine, I present what I consider the seminal work of my life. I ask, “who are the Jewish people, really?” What took me many years to discover is actually remarkably obvious when you see it. It is a universal truth that simply needed to be discovered and explained. I introduce the reality that Jews fit quite neatly into 5 categories of people and present my P.R.I.Z.E. framework: the first-ever mapping of the five Authentic dimensions of Jewish identity. I hope you will consider reading it, sharing it, and debating it. I have given some “pre-talks” about P.R.I.Z.E. leading up to this paper and the single most frequent and gratifying comment I receive afterwards has been, “thank you so much-- I have known I am Jewish all my life, but this is the first time I know how to explain it.” Gets me every time. commentary.org/articles/jeff…

NAZA is the IDF’s term for collateral damage. It's now the title of a film that accuses Israel of genocide for counting how many Palestinians might be killed in strikes against Hamas terrorists in Gaza. But do you know who doesn't have a term or a process like this? Hamas doesn't have a word for collateral damage. Neither does Hezbollah. Neither does Iran. Not because they're careful, but because killing civilians is the whole plan. Israel has a word for it, counts it, and tries to limit it. Every Western military does the same. Only when it's Israel does that get called genocide.
