A day that will live long in the memory 💙
Young and old standing side by side with the honour of playing for the King. An experience very few ever get.
The music and togetherness today showed exactly what this forum is about.
A proud day for everyone involved 👏

Response from the DUP’s Phillip Brett MLA regarding the Belfast Telegraph’s article about him today.
Once again, truly shameful and gutter journalism from this particular outlet. Clearly an attempt to demonise the DUP and loyalist communities.
Instead of listening to the people after the elections, the Labour government decided to double down and label concerned citizens as “far right” and “racist.”
With the numbers that attended the UTK rally, it seems no-one cares about the gaslighting or the labels anymore 👏👏
While one rally was about unity and uniting the Kingdom, the other mocked and called for death. That tells you everything you need to know.

50,000 people 😆 I could not move. There’s no Palestine rally that even compares, and yes I know because I’ve been to 90% of them.
The integrity of Scottish football is absolutely ruined.
Pitch invasions being brushed off as “fan celebrations”, which resulted in damage at Ibrox Stadium, and now today’s scenes where Lawrence Shankland had to be escorted off after being assaulted during celebrations.
Add in the amount of questionable decisions that consistently seem to go in favour of one team.
People are right to question the @ScottishFA and the integrity of the game itself.

Serious question, how is the Distillery Street PEACEPLUS project supposed to benefit a community that is currently under attack night after night?
While residents live in fear, homes and vehicles are targeted, and elderly people are left distressed, locals are being told this project will “improve relations” despite many feeling ignored throughout the process.
How can any project succeed when the very community raising concerns feels completely unheard?
Roden Street community under attack for a 5th night in a row
These mindless sectarian thugs are attacking working class unionists properties and vehicles many of which are elderly
This is in light of the Distillery Street PEACEPLUS project that intends to reduce this interface and is supposedly being delivered to break down barriers and improve community relations
Belfast City Council should send council officers into the area to witness the sheer distress residents are living with day and daily instead of disregarding this communities concerns
The Roden Street community strongly objects to this project because residents fear it will make incidents like this more frequent and the lack of meaningful engagement with this community throughout the process despite funding criteria stating it should be delivered as a "cross-community" "co-designed" project
A recent PSNI FOI highlights the scale of the problems with officers responding to over 520 incidents relating to this interface from January 2024 to February 2026

They absolutely love inventing a new “ism” every five minutes. The only “ism” they really can’t handle is criticism, and the minute they get some it’s straight into victim mentality and pretending it’s oppression.

Very telling that they only feel the need to issue ‘new legal guidance’ when British patriots want to take to the streets.
Prosecutors have been issued new legal guidance on the use of offensive banners, slogans, chants or symbols to recognise the changing context and increase in increase in hate crime attacks ahead of significant planned protests in London this weekend.

ALT Stephen Parkinson, Director of Public Prosecutions: “Everyone has the right to protest and to express their views freely. That right is a cornerstone of our democracy. “However, it does not extend to using words, images or symbols to spread hatred, incite violence or cause fear and intimidation within our communities.

ALT “Prosecutors should consider the circumstances in which chants are used, including the wider context of heightened tensions, whether local, national or global, which may clearly be relevant to issues in the case, such as the suspect’s intention and the consequential impact of the suspect’s actions.

Seriously that is never a handball at Fir Park. The boy headed it 20 yards. The ref takes one look after VAR calls him over. Embarrassing for Scottish football.

It is a very sad day for Northern Ireland to see Pastor Clive Johnston convicted of breaching a so called safe zone. His crime, speaking from John 3:16, the very basis of Christian teaching. God’s love for mankind.
The UUP, SDLP, SF, Alliance and PBP own this.

This was King Charles III finest hour.
His address to Congress was witty, clever, cultured and touched the most important issues facing both our nations.
Countless standing ovations and rounds of applause.
The value of our monarchy is truly priceless.

Huge thanks to Zabbar St Patrick’s Supporters Club and especially to their kit man, Joseph, for the kits and for an unforgettable tour tonight. 🙌
Walking through the places where my granda and his battalion were stationed meant more than I can put into words.
Incredible to see how the club carries that history forward proudly adopting their name to honour the Faughs who served in the area during WWII.

.@POTUS: "Honoring the British King might seem an ironic beginning to our celebration of 250 years of American independence — but in fact, no tribute could be more appropriate. Long before Americans had a nation or Constitution, we first had a culture, a character, and a creed. Before we ever proclaimed our independence, Americans carried within us the rarest of gifts: moral courage, and it came from a small but mighty kingdom from across the sea."

It’s no coincidence that Dunmurry was chosen as the target. As close to the Bobby Sands statue as they could get. As close to where Sands carried out a bomb attack himself.
Republicans encouraged by the rhetoric from a certain political party who praise Sands daily!
