Good morning and happy new week! As a United fan who never wanted Amorim sacked, I hope Roma give Carrick a proper Champions League reality check this week. To everyone who celebrated Amorim's downfall and couldn't wait to see him gone, I hope you have your tissues ready. It's time to taste the same pain you happily served others. Enjoy the show this week🤣🤣

Since 1973??? Wow! DNA Football is doing wonders. I’m happy everything is happening under DNA football and there is no 3 at the back to blame. DNA Football please do more, I beg of you. “Thank you Michael Carrick for bringing back the standards”
Defeat against Chelsea yesterday means Manchester United have failed to win any of their opening seven away games for the first time since 1973. A season which saw the club relegated from the top flight.

Amorim is cooking bro Tielemans would have been a good buy for United if Amorim was still here, he would have played the Bruno Fernandes role under Amorim , one of the two CMs and Baleba would have been the combative one or maybe Amorim would have gotten another midfielder Modric is playing that role perfectly, controlling the tempo of the game in the midfield and stringing passes together…I watched AC Milan game and missed Amorim so much..That guy who assisted two and scored a free kick (D.Moreira) from RWB was what Amorim would have cooked Amad Diallo into with their double 10s Rabiot and Pulisic banging goals like how Cunha and Mbeumo did under him Ratcliff needs to sack Wilcox and apologize to Rueben Amorim then bring Reuben Amorim back …We need him here 😪😩
I watched a 41 year old Luka Modric yesterday and I confirmed that age is just a number. Luka Modric, in 2026, is a better midfielder than the whole of Manchester United’s midfielders (including Bruno Fernandes) combined. A 41 year old was running, throwing tackles like a teenager and was splashing passes like water. He could have also gotten a banger goal if not for Ramos who blocked the shot. He deserves a second Ballon D’Or for real, one is not enough for him. 🐐🐐

This was Sir Alex Ferguson after winning the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen against Rangers. Calling his team’s performance a “disgrace” despite them winning. We now have a manager that is accepting of us being winless in 9 games and doesn’t even call out unacceptable performances. Standards.

It’s hard for people to acknowledge that they were wrong about Michael Carrick. But why? Because admitting you were wrong about Carrick also means admitting you were wrong about Amorim. And most of you would rather remain delusional than accept that you got it wrong. In your desperate search for gold, you fell for a scam. We had a manager who wasn’t perfect, but at least he had an idea of how a football club should be run. You demanded his sacking. Now we’re stuck with a manager who seems to have absolutely no idea how to run a football club. The Glazers, INEOS and the board all deserve their fair share of the blame. But let’s stop pretending the manager is a victim here. The coach carries the biggest share of the blame for what we’re witnessing.

We watched English pundits & journos lie abt Amorim & that his system is defensive. Man Utd had most shots btw. Stats showed Utd were improving & facing normal rebuild issues. Ex players wanted a title winning form. Same pundits feeling sad for Carrick.

Ruben Amorim never lied to us for one day. He says it as it is. There’s too much entitlement in the Manchester United players. The players do whatever they like especially if they no longer want the manager who’s in charge. Until that is fixed, nothing for us.

Rúben Amorim’s performances with AC Milan are living proof of what happens when a manager has the FULL BACKING and CONFIDENCE of his board. Give a manager time, trust his philosophy, recruit players who suit his system and watch what happens. I genuinely believe we’re witnessing the rise of a TOP, TOP manager. Give him a few more months and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him mentioned among the top three managers in Europe. Manchester United made him look like the problem. AC Milan are showing us what happens when you actually believe in the solution. Mums, we fumbled this one badly.

FT scenes: Liverpool 1-2 Man Utd in Oct 19 2025. 1st win at Anfield since 2016. Amorim at 9th (13pts) & 2 pts from top 4. Carragher wanted him sacked. Gary Neville & co scapegoated the system bt they're ignoring relegation Carrick's tactics. Double stds

As I said, Manchester United were performing well under Michael Carrick because of the foundation Amorim had built, not necessarily because Carrick is a better manager. We are clearly seeing this season that Carrick benefited from the work Amorim put into Manchester United and We could have finished in the top five anyway, regardless of which manager succeeded Amorim or with Amorim himself.
Do you know why Manchester United scored more set pieces last season? It was because of Amorims set piece coach Carlos Fernandes. After the Rabiot goal yesterday they all went to congratulate him.
